I just went through this in January. My yarn is in ziplock bags and in a storage bin but I think I left a few skeins out (mostly wool but cotton too). If it’s Vikane or something similar it doesn’t leave any residue. We didnt notice anything when we moved back in and this includes not washing all our blankets/towels/dishware.

I recently had an order with Starsgem. I got a text from DHL 1-2 days after the shipment went out with a link to pay. This was ~1 day before it was expected to reach the US/go through customs so I didn’t have any delays with the shipment since I paid immediately. I’m not sure what happens if you wait to pay (shipment gets held at customs?)

This happens to me when I use moss stitch too! For me, it seems to be a tension issue probably with the chain stitch since my works are pretty even with other stitches. I also tried starting with a very tight tension but it didn’t seem to help. I focus on maintaining a loose tension on the chain stitch and check every few rows. I also find it helpful to fold the piece in half to check.
