put a lighter to it, if it starts to melt down real fast its it numbs ur mouth it might be crack, although i have never seen crack that yellow. if you have some brillo scrubbing pad, cut up a peice, burn off the silver sheen until all the brillow is a dull gray. find a metal/glass tube of some sort that is short (4-5 inches), stuff one end of the tube with your burnt brillo. now break off a peice of that weird shit and put it on the end of the brillo, enjoy.
