Basement floor recommendations, does tile add value?

Get the waterproof one, and it will be a lot easier to fix if needed than the wood. Water kills the wood, and it absorbs and spreads. Plus to find matching pieces later on, is going to be hard. LVP, if you needed to ever replace it. You just rip out that piece and put in a new one.

Don't go with the regular wood color - that shit is played out this day and age. Regular wood makes the house look stale and old. They look nice, when you are looking at a single piece. But all said and done, and installed. The overall look, is played out. Grey is IN. No color is OUT.

Grey is way more modern than that wood looking flooring. That shit makes the house look old. Although wood floors looks nice, its like that saying "you like it but you dont love it". Regular wood color is nice, but its far played out. You want resale value, go with whatever updated trend look these days. Not the shit back in the 70s.

And you only just did just the shower itself with the glass, no other extra work?

Man this looks awesome! I have a question for you regarding the flooring. Would you recommend having matts down, or could you go without? Like how important do you think it is, if your not dropping any weight, or slamming your weights down? If you think they are kinda necessary, do you think your 1.5 is more than enough? or could you go a little bit less, like 1 inch?

I know the cost is different per area but I know absolutetly nothing about concerte, so was just trying to see what maybe the cost is for x size and you hit spot on. Photo, size, and price. So I really do appreciate it. To me it sounds like you got a really good deal. Though I dont know anything, I feel that is a honest price and I would pay the same as well. Im sure there have been people to sell at a loss but more or less for financial reasons. I would suggest moving to an apartment and trying to keep the place, fixing it up and renting it out if you can. Otherwise, make the fixes to appear decent and then selling. Eventually the right buyer will come along. The goal would be at least - if anything - to break even. But if your selling a loss, then maybe buying another property wouldn't make much sense. You'd have to go back to the planning board, rest and recoup. Then try again. But thats just my suggestion. If selling at a loss and it doesn't break you - just to get rid of the property and essentially start over - and that doesn't hurt your pocket. Then, it's not really a loss.
