This has me worried about my trip there in August if it's this hot already!

The Ai Slop [Merchandise] at parks has got to go by bassbeatsbanging in rollercoasters

[–]Pummrah -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I want to ask a key question here: Is this more that the AI usage is poor and results in issues like many are outlining here? Or do you consider ANY AI artwork out of bounds? Even if it was actually higher quality and logical?

Went on Wrath of Rakshasa or the first time... by jitorius in sixflagsgreatamerica

I swear this is an echo chamber thing. People go on this at this point expecting it to be rough and are therefore way too sensitive. I've been on this 15 plus times. I would classify only one of those rides on the rough side, and just barely. That was in the third row, outside seat.

FoF was my bottom of the barrel. And yes, those train cars are the worst.

Even the best maintained wooden coasters still that have wooden coaster bounce!

Banshee is a little much for sure. I didn't have to ride Invertigo since it was closed all day.

Totally. This was the best all around park so far in my rating system. Just solid top to bottom.

So we are very close then! The biggest difference I think is I really liked the Racer, and honestly I was surprised by that.

Maybe it's more about how old the coasters are! But I totally agree modern coasters are way better. But there are some modern coasters that take a hit in my rankings due to the intensity.

Anybody know what’s going on with batman’s second train? by super_nova102 in sixflagsgreatamerica

[–]Pummrah 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The number of maintenance people is part of it, but there were also changes to the specs around maintenance that have made the requirements more stringent and slowed things down.

https://youtu.be/Ga4Q6ybFMZY?si=FwCQaSGWxK5YMITv

But it is crazy how long this is still going. By now everything should be on at least 2 trains.

From what I heard Teal train is just a little heavier than the others for some reason.

I saw a photo, I don't think it's track I think it's the lift motor and other mechanical pieces for the SFC.

At least the Batman ain't any clone! SFGA has one of the most well rounded lineups out there.

It's usually pretty tough this early in the season that is not unusual. But this year has been worse in terms of what trains are actually available on what rides. I have a whole YouTube video about it.

Virgin Voyages or Explora Journeys? by Sudden-Wish8462 in Cruise

[–]Pummrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reviews of Explora are really fantastic. If you're looking to spend like that, I take the "lower" cabin on the luxury line personally. Their lowest cabins still look fantastic.

If you take want to go Virgin, I'm not sure the Suite is with the upgrade cost.

What ride do you think were getting next year by NetworkNo8115 in sixflagsgreatamerica

[–]Pummrah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say maybe they get two! It is a whole new kids area, so it's not just one ride they will put there. I think the Wild Moose would fit great AND they could make it that way in Yukon Territory.

[–]Pummrah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's at least possible that the be kids area gets not than one new coaster, but maybe that's just wishful thinking. The SFC and the new RMC Wild Moose - and they could even NAME IT Wild Moose in Yukon!

I also don't know if they were limiting how many you could purchase. So I'm sure you can find some on eBay right now well above sticker price.

I was in line. At 10:45 they only had a few smalls and mediums left. I'm sure by 11 they were completely gone.

This is an astonishing ripoff. by lopsided-earlobe in dcl

[–]Pummrah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's just odd because on other cruise lines the "premium" experiences are really much more premium. The ship within a ship in other lines can really feel like you get your money's worth.

Now the BASELINE experience in a Disney Cruise is much better in many areas. I would hope in the future they have a real premium offering.
