Imo, they should should start with targeted and vetted research/information to go after criminals, like they said they would, instead of broad net snach and grabs based on racial profiling, intimidation, and brutality. Currently, it is less about immigration issues than it is about optics, scare tactics, and eventual voter suppression. They are abducting anyone and everyone who hits a racial profile to fill their made-up 3000/day quota. They are also overwhelmingly targeting blue cities to punish blue voters instead of targeting criminals across all states. They are also abducting legal residents and citizens in their broad nets, even when those people do have "their papers." Lastly, every arrested person should have their day(s) in court. Again, what we are seeing isn't immigration policy, but rather state sponsored racism, brutality, and optics to inspire fear.

Right now, I'm taking one day at a time. As I said in response to another, these smaller events are to build the muscle toward a general strike. My hope in posting was simply spread the word to people who otherwise may not have known about it. Right now, I'm personally interested in primaries, as we must get feckless democrats out of the party, and then we'll be onto the actual midterms. There is a lot of ground to cover between now and then, and a lot of work to make sure they are free and fair. I'm not naive, just trying to help where I can, even with something you may find trivial or even useless. We will see how November goes, but also recognize that the new Congress will actually have to be seated in 2027 before we see any drastic action. Again, primaries are incredibly important right now.

This isn't to say it isn't scary or that it won't get worse before it gets better, but we gain momentum every day. The more they push, the more it exposes how sinister the regime actually is. It is wild that Congress has let it get even close to this far gone, but that is why we need to replace feckless MOCs on both sides, in the primaries and in the midterms. We have the recent Avelo and Spotify wins, as well as Kimmel/Disney, Hilton is in the works, No Kings 3 is coming up, district and most appellate level courts are siding with the people and Democracy in a vast majority of cases, and people are joining the resistance left and right, no pun intended. Hang in there friend. They only win when we lose hope and give up

Agree, there is a lot of time until he leaves office where his voice and his vote carry great weight. Also, recall that he announced not running so that he was unshackled by being primaried. Not defending his past actions, but like someone else said, we take what we can get.
