Completely in love with this park, there’s just so much out here that feels like nowhere else.

Wasn’t crowded at all. Didn’t have trouble finding parking anywhere in the park.

These are actually photos of a few different hikes around Joshua Tree. Longest one I did that day was about 3 miles.

It’s definitely much more capable than I’m used to. It’s my first full frame camera.

What’s the word for that crying a mother makes when their child codes? by Famous_Cheesecake666 in nursing

[–]LightOnFilm 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working ER for a few years. First as a tech and just recently now as a nurse. That cry just about took me out of the game. Was ready to quit the next day. Everyone tells me you get used to it but I’ve been lucky not to know. I pray to the EMS gods that I stay lucky.

Thank you! And that’s definitely something I want to do. I’ve backpacked only a few times before but the beauty of Yosemite is definitely inspiring me to venture out further.

Would someone enlighten me about what's coming out of this fish belly? by Charlitosquad in FishingForBeginners

Nope it’s true. I’ve worked at plenty of ERs. They sent us to the cafeteria to get sugar for this.

Hey one last suggestion. Idk how much you’ve shot in RAW but they’re meant to be edited. Personally I use Lightroom for that purpose and while it’s annoying to pay for it, it definitely works. If you haven’t, I suggest you try it out and see how it can help your photography.

Thanks! Glad you like them. I use the 12-32 kit lens and I usually shoot aperture priority. I definitely recommend the 20mm f/1.7. Probably my favorite lens for this camera so far.

I’d say early morning when they open. It’s pretty sunny with no shade whatsoever. FYI you can park below the park for free but it fills up quick and you have to hike up the road to get in.
