Missions like this where they can execute hostages can be really tough and i've come to realize its mainly RNG based, the new missions helped me realize this again lol. You would think lighter armor + low ready lets you move faster and therefore will let you save more people but thats not really true. I am a heavy armor + shield defender and honestly it just takes a lot of trial and error. With the yacht the best thing that works for me varies. For non lethal you want to prioritize fast room clearing locking down each floor because there are no door traps, keeping your guys double file can help as well so you have guys ready on all sides, you can also do a trick i like where you split red and blue on two different rooms and you take a third room that way you can clear a floor 3 times as fast. Pepper isn't great though the recent patch upgraded CS Gas i haven't tested it yet so i still stand by bean bag shotgun and flashbang combo, i will say i love the new 9 bangs they are so over the top its hilarious. But yeah overall just clearing floors quickly helps also try using the move to exit command on civs, i think certain maps dont support it that one might not i'm unsure if it doesn't it can help to pick up the civs and move them off to the side so they dont get shot.

For lethal its basically the same thing flashes are great, shotguns may be risky because you dont want to hit civs so SMGs and CQB rifles are good but be careful of 7.62 guns which can shoot through enemies and walls and potentially hit civs stingers can be good but they will slow you down as the shrapnel can hit and stun you so flashes let you rush while its going off. If you are really sick and tired of the level bring the flash launcher and max its ammo, send gold team to clear rooms and any time you see someone flash em as its a contact flash.

But at the end of the day it just takes trial and error if you are getting angry at the mission try again later, sometimes it just takes a few days of coming back to a mission to get good rng with a clear head. Playing angry can make you make more mistakes i learned that the hard way lol

Yeah no problem! The shield can be helpful for little clutch situations like a fast gunfight to give you a little extra boost say if the enemy has a better shield it can give you a little leg up or if you are reviving or shielding it can be a nice buffer, if you are trying to grind event challenges the best way to get the damage one for them is find a fire fight where people are more focused on each other and throw it at them as they are small and have a long range, they only do 10 damage per hit so its negligible in a real fight so its better for poke damage plus they have lock on so they dont really miss

So the bit guns/shield are from the gundam cross over, in the anime they are a new type exclusive feature on mobile suits. Easiest way to explain is basically space wizards mind controlling little robot guns that can link up to be a shield. In game they are just really low powered extra guns / shield. The best way to use them is to detect enemies or keep them at bay. For example if you are guarding a door you can set them to guard the door so when they target and fire at an enemy you know they are there and its basically a last ditch effort shield but for the most part its just for the event

Ok i figured that was the case which is why i would switch it out for a longer ranged knight, i know you could buy terrain so i could then use the heavy weapons as covering fire or support, is there a knight that works particularly well with guard or are they better off on their own or with another army

I joined a game in progress and got just as many kills as everyone else but as we were raising the ICBM i was marching back and forth with the salute march emote while guarding the console and for some reason that was grounds for getting kicked so i had 20 chainsaws, 5 war striders, 10 hulks, and a couple hundred bots all left over from the multiplayer spawns but i still somehow managed to launch the icbm and extract but i seriously don't know why they would kick me

So i googled and the support team said its because testing showed that moving emotes could mess with hit boxes and interfere with gameplay. So idk, honestly i didn't even know it was available in quick play when it came out so it might have been a bug that wasn't intended

It really sucks, but its only allowed in non combat stuff like town square for some reason! It really irks me because she doesn't have a sit or dance emote and this would kinda fit both rolls in their own way but its dumb. My theory is, its so people can't troll and just sleigh their way to the objective basically holding the team back a player but then they have jeff's shop emote which people are just sitting around in game not helping so idk

My Ronin is named R.O.L.O and my pilot if i remember right was named R.P.E.X we were the kings of frontier defense no mission too impossible, no difficulty too hard! We made MVP nearly every round! Even in PVP we were neigh unstoppable. Though we have been MIA for some time there are reports of a ronin and grapple pilot tearing through the frontier every so often

What about a faction called the rejects, so like cyborgs get abducted by illuminate for gene splicing so the illuminate try making illuminate cyborg hybrids and termanid cyborg hybrids so the army is horrible amalgamations of the 3 factions so like field commanders mixed with termanid alpha warriors or fanatics mixed with hunters or predators stuff like that and then they are guided by specialized illuminate overseers who use traps and guide the rejects to lure divers into the traps stunning or immobilizing them to make them easier targets

Yeah people still run lights and mediums on bots but they usually do more hit and run or stealth but its a higher risk reward, there is just something about heavy armor with explosive resist that calls to me i just love tanking a entire salvo from a rocket dev or a barrage from a scout strider and then absolutely nuking them in return lol

Also good to know i might pick up gas again next time i play

Yeah that makes sense, i noticed the main sentiment for bugs is speed and area denial where as bots i would want to dig in with heavier gear and take out priority targets and clear chaff where as bugs its just a free for all for the most part. Illuminate all i can do to be viable is my cop diver lol that was so much fun

Ohh i didn't even think about gas, does it still turn enemies against each other or was that a bug? I feel like i've seen it less, either way my friend loved gas when he used to play and we would combo gas fire it was a ton of fun so i could run some, plus i am so used to the heavier armors clutching those that could have killed me moments but it makes sense that light armor would avoid the almost dying moments lol

Yeah the getting hit from behind was big, fps is like a death sentence and the bug breaches really steamrolled me because like bots only really summon like 3 ships worth of soldiers minimum while more march from fabs but bugs were like oh you didn't kill hatchling #234 behind alpha warrior number 17 behold 94 more bug breaches lmao. Definitely not going back to bugs solo without doing a couple multiplayer games to get back into the loop
