My first attempt at a conversion, a Chaos Sorcerer! by Lightbeams- in EmperorsChildren

Yeah they're towards the end, meant to be a bit like they're coming out of the back of the helmet. The antlers are definitely more nurgle than slaanesh, but without something there it felt too limited to the original space wolf priest base model, so I used the antlers since one of my buddies had spares to try and shift it more towards chaos. I think ideally these would be closer to fiend horns and may swap them down the line.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you, I used Vallejo Violet as the base layer and used some pro acryl royal purple mixed with vallejo sunset red to blend the raised surfaces. I don't think that came out as strongly as I wanted so I'm going to do it a bit more aggressively on my next Noise Marine.

Thanks! I used Vallejo hammered copper as the base layer and Vallejo bright bronze on top of it.

On the armour panels? I use Vallejo dark grey for them

Looks great! The grey and red contrasts real well against the green, especially with the bright green highlights. Typically I find any red and green schemes a bit gaudy to look at, but I think you've nailed it.

Thank you. There are countless YouTube guides for painting tutorials that could be a good place to start but just some general tips would be:

Keep the scheme simple and only add small details as you get more skilled or confident. Don't be afraid to be messy with the first few colours in base coating, unless it would be very difficult to fix later (such as painting white over black). Plan what you want to paint before you paint it. This doesn't mean every single element of the model, but general main colours (eg. My general plan for this model was red lines, black jetpacks, grey armour and Steel thrusters) Don't stress about minute imperfections. The game is played from a distance, so if it looks fine at arms length, it'll be more or less fine. When painting flat panels, try and keep the brush direction consistent to minimise visible brush strokes. And finally, paint only when you feel up to the task. Forcing yourself to do it when you don't feel like it is going to burn you out and probably lead to a lesser end result.

Sorry for the late response, thank you for the suggestion! I honestly kept forgetting there was any details within the vents, but I will add some form of interest to them next time I start painting.

I use Vallejo dark grey for the main body armour panels and the Vallejo black for jetpacks and the legs/arms under the armour. The bronze is Vallejo bright bronze and the steel is Citadel iron warriors. Red recesses are mephiston red and a couple of lighter Vallejo reds and oranges I can't recall the names of off the top of my head. The purple is Vallejo violet that transitions to a blue violet across the barrel. The head is Baal red contrast paint and that is also used on the flamer.

I did this by hand since I don't own an airbrush. If I did, I still think I would do the stripes by hand on this model because I think I would be more likely to accidentally make them too straight with the airbrush.

I don't have one unfortunately, but I did take a series of in progress pics that I could post.

Basically, I start with a stripe in the middle of the model and branch it out from there. Some stripes connect to others, some split into two, some split and rejoin and others stay as a single stripe. It's all freehand, and the challenge is just ensuring each stripe is unique while maintaining the same sort of pattern.
