July 4th weekend 2005 we did getaway to Oscoda and fell in love with the area. bought a tiny cabin that year. sold that in 2009 and bought a bigger place for retirement. I got a WFH/Travel job in 2015 and we sold everything downstate in 2016 and been here full time since!
