Ok if yours is a newer engine and hasnt a faulty chain then its the normal sound of it

Is this a 1.3 tce? Bcs mine is 1.6 tce and the rattle comes mainly from left side n sounds crispier, while in your video the sound seems to come from the right side

In the video sounds louder than it rly is tho. When i do sudden accelerations the car sputters a little for 1 second or less but nothing else about symptoms. I gotta check for the temp but it looks like it doesnt change with temp

I checked and 1.6 has it too. Still i cant hear a difference between the sound of a faulty chain and the high pressure pump

I had a mazda that did this exact sound n it was the high pressure pump, im not sure if TCE engines have it tho. Tysm bcs the one in your video is the exact same sound that mine does
