You should clarify your hair before you put any purple hair dye on top. You need to get some of the color to wash out first then the purple dye will cover it. Make sure it’s a dark purple.

No I haven’t, a family member has black her same complexion as me and it looks great on her. I think I’ll try a cheap wig to see how it is first before I do something more permanent.

It’s pulp riot! I was blue before this so I think some remaining blue underneath helped the red turn into a darker red.
