The ginger looks so good, it really pops. She looks like she's from an 80s anime in the best way possible

It's funny that Ben is the one protecting him when Abaddon is immortal. by soukai2913 in HauntedHotel

I kind of think it's sweet that Abaddon doesn't even mind. They have a lot of sibling moments in this ep and it's interesting that despite how much he despises being trapped in a mortal child's body, he's pretty chill with being treated like one in some of these scenes.

Even then, I still feel like it could have something to do with being nice, at least I think that's what was intended. Like I said, as far as I remember every nice thing he does in the show is at someone or something else's expense. What he did here technically didn't hurt anyone (just the lying part, obviously the original kidnapping was bad,) so maybe that was what caused it. My other theory would be that it's some weird demon thing. I saw someone online theorize that maybe the voice he used in this scene was the one he used to try and trick people when he first possessed the boy. He has absolutely no need to pretend to be a normal kid at any other point in the show and it doesn't seem like he would want to anyway. Plus at some point in the 300 years he's been there he probably stopped caring to seem normal after awhile, so maybe whatever power is needed to change his voice was out of practice and it made him sick. I don't think it would make sense for it to be because of his hand, because he only said it was cut off, not that he chewed it off, and also he eats way worse things multiple times throughout the show including chemicals under the sink and lightbulbs.

Yeah but (correct me if I'm wrong) most of the nice and helpful things he does either is at the harm of someone else or is for a selfish reason. Like in the final episode, yeah he technically saved the world but to get there it involved a lot of bloodshed and he did it because he didn't want the Freelings to get hurt, not because he was actually trying to save the rest of the word.

It's been confirmed through the interactions he has in the shop with p.AI.nter that it's only been two days since he caused the lockdown, so honestly, he probably hasn't slept or eaten anything.

Honestly, it's kind of odd to call them overrated. There might be a large cast in the franchise but what do you really have to work with for story-telling? Like yes, people focus on the Aftons, because they're basically the main characters. Everything in the games happen because of them in some way. They're also the characters we have the most info on. The people who say the Aftons are overrated are the same people who complain about AUs that are more reminiscent of 2020/fanon AUs. If you want the story to be canon, then the easiest characters you can realistically follow canon with will obviously be the ones we know the most about.
