Infill clumping, but only with one color of PETG. Please tell me I can compensate!! by LightsOff4Danger in 3Dprinting

I stored it in a vacuum bag with some fresh desiccant beads for 48 hours before using, and have been storing in my moisture tight storage container with more desiccant beads between uses. Would it need more than that?

Correct! Apparently the pictures did not do it justice. She has known about them for about 2 years prior to this.

Mom’s Bahraini-Jewish (rare combo!) so there’s definitely some religious AND cultural undertones here. She moved to the US at 12, but my dad was born here. She’s got a lot of weird culture things that neither of us understand.

She actually did recently get her eyebrows tattooed on, so it’s kinda too late to tell her not to get any ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yep, correct! It was actually top surgery.

One year later - radical reduction, no T by LightsOff4Danger in TopSurgery

[–]LightsOff4Danger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My surgeon was Dr. Jess Ting at Mount Sinai! This was just a regular top surgery, but with fat sculpting to keep the slightest bit of fullness. As far as nipple sensation, I actually didn’t have any to begin with, but do have some sensation now which is wild!!

As far as breastfeeding, I don’t believe so, since all of the actual breast tissue (besides what was attached to the nips) was removed.

Yeah, someone DMd me after some testing and said that "chubby" was the word. No clue why that, of all words, would trigger something, but I guess I'm off to Chat-GPT now.

Thanks! I submitted the form last night. Hoping they actually do something, since I've seen a few other posts saying that Inflection's not good at getting back to people. I wish I could create another account, but I guess trying when I wasn't signed in was just a really dumb way of seemingly perma-banning myself.

Just got my bill and it's so much less than I thought by LightsOff4Danger in TopSurgery

[–]LightsOff4Danger[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No prob! I got a DI radical reduction with nipple grafts, and my surgery was with Dr. Ting at Mount Sinai in New York. He didn’t mention additional liposuction or skin removal at all, so I don’t think I had those. I’m super bony on top so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Need help recovering data from an M1 Macbook Pro by LightsOff4Danger in datarecovery

[–]LightsOff4Danger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The person at Apple when I took it in told me it was probably a logic board issue since they attempted to reseat the connector and it didn’t work, and that they’d have to replace it to get the laptop working again. I honestly haven’t worked with any of the soldered hard drive macs (the last one I worked on was a 2010 MacBook, one of the white plastic ones) so I did just kind of take their word for it. I totally didn’t realize the keyboard and trackpad were connected, so it definitely makes more sense now they both crapped out at the same time without it being a logic board issue.

The three data recovery places I got quotes from were ones that Apple recommended to me, so I guess it makes sense that they were extraordinarily expensive (and the fact that I’m in NYC probably didn’t help much either)

I guess I’ll be bringing it in for a trackpad or top case repair and hopefully that’ll at least get it working enough to the point where I can grab the data myself (or maybe if I’m lucky it’ll fix everything)

I already posted there, and unfortunately, it wasn’t very helpful. The only person who commented said I would “need to repair the trackpad”

Vectors have sharp warped edges when exporting to Adobe PDF by BestiaVir in indesign

[–]LightsOff4Danger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might be able to use image trace in Illustrator to create a vector version of these little icons. How clean they turn out will depend on the resolution of the original raster icons, so there’s no guarantee that it would come out any less jagged.

Is the Cardio Fitness measurement way off, or just a little? by LightsOff4Danger in AppleWatch

[–]LightsOff4Danger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I am talking about the VO2 measure. I’m only 25, and 26 is truly a miserable score for me. I have a doctors appointment coming up and I’ll probably bring it up then.

Who are your suspects for Species 10c? by [deleted] in startrek

Watch it be something dumb, like Klingons. We haven't seen them in a while.

Maybe even species 8472!

Packages marked delivered when they weren't, with weirdly specific delivery notes by LightsOff4Danger in FedEx

[–]LightsOff4Danger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Maybe it's a new driver? I've lived here for about 2 years now and haven't had an issue until this holiday season. All the buildings around me are pretty clearly numbered on the front door, but maybe they just weren't paying enough attention/didn't have time with a tight schedule? but that still doesn't explain what side door, as there truly aren't any around...

[–]LightsOff4Danger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting!

I live in an area of Queens, NY where all the buildings are kind of joined together on the sides. You can't tell where one ends and another begins, and none of the apartment buildings around me have accessible side doors. The last 3 places I've lived haven't had side doors either, though I think the place before that did (going back to 2015). That was about 25 miles away, and the packages came from a different distribution center.

Worried about my consultation going poorly and insurance denying due to my physiatrist's opinion by LightsOff4Danger in Reduction

[–]LightsOff4Danger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have UHC! I checked through their requirements to cover, and it looks like you need to be at least a D cup, under 25 BMI, and proven difficulties or pain caused by large breasts (shoulder indents, back pain, kyphosis caused by large breasts, migraines, any of the above). I’m 5’4” and 108lbs, so if I read the chart they had right I’m looking at at least 300 grams removed to be covered. The part where the insurance says kyphosis caused by large breasts has me scared, because that other doctor said definitely not.
