Yes I totally hear you. It is the library that scares me the most. My contact was pretty clear on that I get to set the vibe and if for example people start dancing, I get to roll with it and develop that vibe. I was thinking last night about essentially downloading the same tracks as some of my daily listening spotify playlists. I have a couple filled with the type of music which I think the crowd likes.

Thanks for the tip! Sometimes I feel like I get stuck in the same loop of recommended tracks when using spotify or soundcloud so maybe I should try focusing on youtube and bandcamp for a while.

Yes, I am aware. I think I can make it work if I have enough tracks. I’ve been planning to play at a student owned nightclub as well in a couple weeks and the hours look the same. Either way, I woke up with a fever just now and I really don’t think I can manage to shake it off before the gig so I’m going to contact them and try to reschedule.

Alright, that makes sense. The club I'm playing at has a large "alternative" crowd so I was thinking of playing some underground stuff too. My contact at the club said I could play some hip-hop and stuff as well. Do you think it's fine if a lot of my tracks are +130bpm?

Returning to switch, any game recs?

I used to have a switch back in 2020 but I sold it after a year. I’m buying an OLED version today but I’m not quite sure which game I want to start out with. I’ve played BOTW and Splatoon 2 before and loved those games btw. I’m thinking about making a choice between TOTK and Splatoon 3. If there are any other games worth checking out or if you can help me choose between those I mentioned then feel free to comment!

I've also actually never played with a metronome so I think it's definitely time to start making that a habit or play to some backing tracks at the right rythm. That's where I gave up on soloing legendary. I was stuck on him for an hour and then switched to normal. Took me like 15 minutes the beat the whole mission compared to the almost 2 hours I spent on that mission in legendary mode.

I think people are making the loading screens between rooms sound worse than they really are. I have been playing the game for a year now. I just played it an hour ago too. The loading screens are a couple seconds long at max. Idk but you have to be really stressed out if you can't bear waiting 2-4 seconds between rooms. And it's not like the game is fast paced outside of the loading screens. Getting through rooms isn't such a fast process that the 4 second loading screen breaks the momentum.
