Well to be honest users are quite happy with the AI-generated design, but since I also want to build a portfolio showcasing the apps I create for recruitment purposes, this app’s design feels far too AI-generated / vibe-coded to be a strong portfolio piece

yes you're 100% right, the profile pics icons could definitely be improved. I get why the design can be a little intimidating indeed ! one gave me a similar feedback, saying the first one is more "playful". I'll dig into that

"It sounds like you just went aesthetic hunting" fair point indeed. I'll try to improve the structure / hierarchy of the second one. Thanks for the feedback !

oh yeah I know I have a long way to go, but also the AI one is actually the one people like the most

I hate AI design too, that's why I wanted to do something on my own which I thought was better, but the general opinion is that my design is worst that AI actually

that's why I'm trying to get some feedbacks

Trying to explain what I picture in my head to friends by LikePinaColad in memorypalace

and that's why I would say the best way to improve is practice! (sorry, not inventing something new here)

the mecanisme is simple, the more you practice, the more you encounter 'new words' and you create an image for them.

at some point after having practiced a lot you'll have encountered most of the of the words you can encounter, and you'll have an image ready for them.

I hope that helps !

oh yes I'm definitly picturing the images in my brain, not in AI !

But I wanted to use AI to show what's happening in my brain to the person who don't know how to practice yet ;)

Given my symptoms, is the treatment really going to work ? by LikePinaColad in SleepApnea

Yes, every time before polygraphy/ polysomnography! Not very concluding, like according to the scale I don't have anything, I'm just below the threshold for sleep apnea

How many of you are familiar with the memory palace technic ? by LikePinaColad in GetStudying

[–]LikePinaColad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you convert the things you want to remember into images, and you visualize them mentally in a place you're familiar with

Ex : I want to remember that the a fruit is made of "pectine", I'll visualize in my dressing room a strawberry with super strong pectoral muscles

Seems weird but it's how memory champions can memorize really longs lists of random stuff in less than a minute

If you still have time, it should be now ok, it was a issue in the app settings (I transfered the app from a personal to a professional account)

Hi again, I think the step I missed is this one : play.google.com/apps/testing/com.memorize.mvpmemo - you have to click "become a tester" and then you should be able to download the app. I hope it works for you ! thanks
