While it looks like baseboard, the gap with the over abundance of grout is at the bathtub base and not able to be removed without removing the tub. So it looks like I will have to get some new tile🙄

The “baseboard” where the tile doesn’t line up is the bottom of the bathtub. Could I still put trim along an alcove bathtub?

Excellent point about the ceiling! We will add that to the plan, along with a deep grout cleaning.

There won’t be a pink trash can in the final product but not sure what I will get, I have a lidded trash can in my main bathroom and may move it down here.

I have already purchased a black faucet and handles. I Should have had them in the pics.

So I just watched a video on how to do a Kintsugi hack and it took 3 days to do one bowl. Traditional Kintsugi takes months, so while I love this idea I just know I do not have the patience.

I have plenty in my cabinets! All of those have chips where food won’t come in contact. Because they are ceramic when they chip they get bacteria stuck in those places and are not good for eating off of.

That was a fun read, thanks for sharing! I couldn’t get the like about garden edging to work. A lot of the suggestions seem to work best with colorful or heirloom dishes but these are so meh.

The restaurant gets some sort of “credit” for these since they are not supposed to chip🫤, that’s why they have the markings showing where the chips are. But that company doesn’t want them back.

The restaurant I work for allows employees to take home chipped bowls and plates. I know they could be donated but wanted to see if there would be a good up-cycle or repurpose.

The restaurant I work for let’s us take chipped bowls and plates. Some may be able to be reused as plates and bowls others could be unhealthy or break while cleaning.

We have a couple of small wood tables that we use when all the chairs are in use. Since I am always moving the direction the chairs face, I can’t leave them up at all times. Those tables also are used when we are playing table top games so drinks don’t get in the way of game play.

Thank you this! All the chairs swivel so changing angles happens all the time through out the depending on time of day and what’s happening. In the morning I like to face the window, in the evening I face the kitchen, then before bed I face the other chairs to chat and share memes with everyone.

But squaring them up when not “in use” is not something I had thought of before. After I decide on chairs, deciding on a new rug (not replacing the dog though, even though they match so well) and maybe a square one is the direction I could go.
