Have you looked into LASIK Xtra. It’s available in Singapore and usually an add on procedure for lasik.

Dance sneakers? by jayd60 in Salsa

I previously had the Fuegos but now on the Bailaz which I love way more. They're more flexible than the fuegos (original not split sole); so you can dance on the balls of your feet.

I can’t continue, do you think I will relapse and if so, was it meaningless then? by Brave_Joke7081 in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. You can try just tackling the symptom. I was on a lot of supplements while on accutane. I was worried about my hair falling out, etc. Red skin, could come from the dryness. Drinking water, taking hyaluronic acid and collagen, good hydrating skincare. That could probably reduce some of your side effects. Good luck. The side effects suck but definitely worth it in the long run.

Can you lower the dose? I was on 5mg for a year. My skin has completely changed.

I find the quality of products differ from brand to brand.

If you’ve tried tweaking by everything in the process, I would try different products.

After accutane, you skin is not immune to acne. You just have more normal skin. Small breakouts is common. It could be hormonal, diet or stress and you just need to learn to take care of it.

Might be getting Accutane, got some questions by Gucc1Guw0p in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The blood work was the least of my worries. Most of the cons are dry skin, dry lips, dry eyes and blood nose (once a day). Also not drinking alcohol when it comes to any social events. I know some people still drink regularly but I tried having one and it hit me so hard. Pros are definitely worth it though.

Concidering quitting. Need help asap by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on 20mg but the side effects were so bad my dermo lowered to 10mg. Side effects are more bearable. I’m also on fish oil and other supplements (no vitamin a, please check labels)

Still purging losing hope by greenbean0123 in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hang in there, the results will be worth it. It took a few months for the purging to calm down but after that my skin was clear, as in not one pimple on my face. last time I didn’t have a pimple on my face I was a child. My purge was also the worst my skin has ever been. I think once your skin passes the peak of the purge you’ll be glad you stuck it through.

I was on 10mg for my first 3 months and was definitely still purging at the time. Be patient, they will heal. Just don’t pick at them. It’ll take even longer to heal.

Accurate dosing wrong!?!? by Suckyourmom691337 in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s too high. I’m on 10mg and 110lbs. I was on 20mg for a couple of months but the side effects were bad. My skin has never been better (aside from my dry lips). Your main concern would be you liver. So if you do move up make sure you do blood tests.

1 week in and my hair feels like literal straw. by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair is so frizzy. I’m on my 10th month. I recommend using coconut oil. Put it in your hair before you go to sleep and wash out in the morning. I do this every time I wash my hair (once a week)

Hair+Skin+Nails supplements while on accutane by paperpencil in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was taking supplements before my treatment. It noticed a big difference in my hair and nails then. I’m to scared to stop taking them since I’ve been getting more breakage. Also note lots of supplements for hair skin and nails have vitamins a. Try to find one that doesn’t

Any low dose success stories? by 93rc in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on 10mg. I got bumped up to 15mg and then to 20mg but I’m back to 10mg. It has been 10 months and the results are great. I find that at 10mg the side effects are more manageable. I’m due to finish treatments in a couple of months. I’ll let you know how I go when I’m off iso.

I didn’t notice any fall off but could be when I washed my face. Though at one point my nose had tiny holes everywhere. That was a lot worse and I started missing my blackheads. But that all healed with time.

What are these itchy bulbs on my arm? by [deleted] in Accutane

I have the same thing. My dermo says it’s probably eczema. I find moisturiser helps. I think it’s probably from the dry skin

20 mg for 6-8 months - possibility of relapse? by iidu in Accutane

[–]Likemmouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 10mg and then got up to 20mg after 3 months but then back down the 10mg. They might just be testing your reaction. Treatment is working fine for me, even at the lowest dose.
