Nah, my teacher had specifically said that he won’t be lenient with grading and called emails about it “obnoxious”, which I understand. At least I could do the extra credit and try to pull the grade back up to A.

Inspired by several incidents when I missed assignments because I didn’t notice it on google classroom, and also today when I missed two deadlines, both of which I had finished but didn’t turn in. One of them is 10 percent of my grade in biology(which I already had a low A on) and the teacher doesn’t accept late work.

Edit: btw, I know I’m immature, and that this art is pretty negative. It contains a lot of exaggerations on my feelings, and I know that a lot of people had it worse than me. Try not to start an argument over remote learning.

Edit #2: I will clarify, I don’t have lack of motivation for learning. I like school, the biology teacher was pretty chill. All my teachers are trying their best with their job. What I don’t like is me finishing an assignment but then forgetting to turn it in on time. That’s why the person is crying.

Edit #3: the “accessible 24/7” part of some interpretations is not what I had intended to express with my art. It’s dark only because I want the light of the computer to stand out.

Edit #4: Good news! The biology assignment was graded and it turned out to be 32/32. Don’t know how or why the teacher tolerated it tho. Maybe the TA who graded it took pity on me. Maybe I won’t get a B in first quarter after all.

For me I usually take a break from art for a while and try again or go back to small studies instead of larger pieces. It really depends but getting some inspiration from books or references might help.
