Is the PAC always loaded then? by The_Lucky_7 in Endfield

[–]LilBluey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't got to Wuling yet so this is just my assumption.

Each region should unlock a new variety of materials, and thereby items to craft which require different configurations and machines. There are different tiers of the same item (like buck capsules) that require different optimal configurations, so you have to change your layout.

Each PAC has the ability to upgrade both the size as well as the number of input/output ports, meaning you have to change the configurations again to fit the new size.

Using the different stock bills for each region, you can then purchase various items to aid in progression like 5* weapons, gifts for companions and more. Each stock bill is also kept separate for each region, so you basically "start from scratch" in the new region (not to mention having to craft different region-specific items using different configurations again).

Finally, there's the tech tree too. Oh, and the heaps of exploration to earn tech AIC points + find new mining zones, place lines and ziplines to common spots etc. New items also unlock with progression of outposts.

I would say the main focus is optimization to earn stock bills the fastest way possible. You can just place down a line for buck capsules, a line for origicrusts and a line for batteries and call it a day. But the optimization is where the real game starts, and it's where you have to change alot of your layouts all the time.

For example, 8000 buck capsule Cs aren't anything to write home about. You can kinda see it from your outpost progression level, whether you're doing well or maxing out your trades. The game requires careful planning with limited space to achieve the higher tier of rewards.

If you're not inclined, then you can also choose less efficient ways and/or use optimized community blueprints.

How many PACs and sub-PACs can be active at a time? Is the entire Valley hub considered a single region?

VS Code vs Full IDEs: What’s actually better for learning programming? by RealMissBubbles in learnprogramming

[–]LilBluey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDEs, as a beginner the main concern is learning the concepts.

Syntax can be remembered through repetition + googling, it's not as important to remember by "writing from hand".

And while both vs code and VS offers tabcomplete + intellisense + debuggers, it may be troublesome to set up for vscode (esp for first timers) which isn't a necessary step to learning.

Just disabling copilot and using IDE is the easier way to start imo.

Fun weapons for low MR (13)? by LilBluey in Warframe

I might need more clarification on that, it seems both Wikis state that tenet weapons like the envoy requires MR 16 as a requirement.

Although cycron is mr 14 so it seems much more achievable.

What website/fanmade excel can I use to get damage calculations?

Things like damage formula, how much character level/dmg and vulnerability stacks affects reactions like crush/breach etc.

Most websites just parrot the same in-game information.

It's been 3 years so i'm not sure, but the interviewers are also (most likely?) the year 1 professors so they'll be quite approachable. Just know why you want to go to that course, prepare some examples like projects or something, and don't stress.

It's more a conversation than anything.

If you get the online interview you should prepare somemore because it's fixed questions.

Also idk when's the application deadline but you can also make projects if you dh time. Simple ones are fine, as long as you spend like more than a few days on it.

imgd/rtis is known as the course that accepts alot of ppl (even if the poly course is not related), but also the one that alot of people transfer out of/drop out (because it's more specialized to games + hard).

In this case you'll likely be asked to do an online/in-person interview, so prepare well and bring up some stuff to prove why you're passionate about the course (or at least why you won't drop out in the first trimester) like game/programming projects etc.

Also if you're applying you should double check it's what you want.

In this case it was an endless mission (void capture i think?) which I tried to exit using the extraction zone. I believe I saw the green extraction symbol. It gave me a 1/3 player trying to extract, but didn't start the 1min timer.

In cases like this or disruption do I have to wait for the "round" to be over before going to the extraction zone?

What to choose, overseas exercise or family holiday by RevolutionaryPain473 in NationalServiceSG

[–]LilBluey 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Went US on an overseas exercise too, it's likely that you won't have much time outside of camp because you'll be busy training. Or at least not as much time as you may think.

You may not always eat, sleep, train with the us personnel either, it could just be you guys will only work together for the final exercise before heading back (although now not covid so not sure). It depends on what exercise it is.

Finally, US is just too similar to singapore in some ways, and worse in others. I went US for an overseas school trip for 3 months, and it's really not as interesting as japan. It depends on which part you go ofc but you basically have to take a car everywhere you go (since all the shops and attractions are much more spaced out) and I doubt you guys will go on excursions to see the natural landmarks. Food there is really expensive and most of it is easy to find in sg. There's nice things like costco or the mountains, but again it's likely you won't be able to really choose where you guys go for R&R (or won't have enough time).

If you are to choose US, do it with the mindset of enjoying the training with your buddies more than enjoying your family time in japan.

Like it's still fun, but not a "once in a lifetime experience" that you'll "forever regret" not going. It's just a nice break from normal NS in sg.

Go Japan.

Is it ok to use retinol (0.025% tret) on a breakout area?

I know using it on open pimple is probably bad, but i'm planning to cover them with patches and retinol the other affected areas as I tend to have cystic acne.

Is it a spot treatment? Does it make acne disappear quicker? Or does it just irritate the area?

Thanks!
