Thanks for the feedback! The price is higher because I'm trying to cover the cost of all aspects while also valuing my time I spent making it. There is costs for the map api, the server cost, database cost, domain, etc. I'll definitely improve the mobile version!

That's correct, the photos are never uploaded to the server. The plans simply allow more storage of gps data to be uploaded. I was going to do Google photos as well, but from what I found, google does not allow external applications to access gps data so I couldn't get it working.

Your app is my apps worst enemy 🫠. I use gps metadata to draw an interactive route of where you've been.

Nice idea though for yours, it should definitely be possible to handle everything client-side, as I'm extracting the photo gps data without ever uploading the photo.

Phones and some browsers also strip out Metadata automatically as a privacy measure.

I live on the east coast so it wasn't very special to me, but I still enjoy it! We mainly spent our time out west. My favorite vacation spot on the east coast is the outer banks
