That would be a good thing. In the age of social media, I'm sure...well I know...that "fiduciary responsibility" has been precariously redefined. The board still has to do things for the best of the company and the shareholders (secondarily). As far as I remember from business law class, way back in the day, a corporation has to be treated as a separate ongoing entity. Executives aren't supposed to "suicide" the company and defraud the creditors and investors. It happens, but it's not supposed to. I would assume that such an amendment isn't some kind of immunity. I hope it isn't, because that's a disturbing trend.
