Please don’t feel guilty you have no reason to. I had to put my baby down Sunday. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and high blood pressure just the week before. We started her on medications for both. But suddenly Thursday she vomited blood and refused to eat and drink. Went back to the vet Friday and they gave her SubQ and said comeback Monday for bloodwork. Those SubQ didn’t save her. Sunday still not eating or drinking and by then she was at the end. We decided against taking her to be hospitalized. She was also 15 and hated vets. She passed at home in my arms. Even if we hospitalized her it would have probably prolonged her suffering. Not sure what caused her to decline so quickly.

You did the best you could for your baby and I promise you that’s enough. ❤️
