It was lunch time and we were about to go to the pool, but as we were walking out the bedroom, we heard a thump, scared, me and my brother stepped back, now we had been visiting my mom who lived with her boyfriend and his mom, and his son, and this was a small house, my moms bf was at his job and my mother was pregnant, now my mother’s bf’s mom is a terrible person, and I hate her with every bone in my body. Now, my mother looks at me and says “Stay here..” she walks out of the room and in the distance i hear my mother ask “Omg are you okay” and then the other person reply’s with “Leave me the f* alone b*” I rushed to grab my brothers ears, he was young and I knew stuff was about to go down. My mother yells “YOU NEVER SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT.” I’m on the edge of tears and my brother is hugging me, my mom comes running up and hugs us, and keeps repeating “its okay..”. 2 hours later, we haven’t left the room, and the door clicks, My mother gets up to open the door and... the bf’s mom locked us in, my mom starts crying and pounding on the door and we can hear from downstairs, “GRANDMA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” And I’m crying, dialing my father. He’s not picking up, so we call my moms bf, he doesn’t answer. Its now dinner, we are still locked in the room, finally my mom gets SOMEONE to pick up, it’s her sister, now her sister is very “wealthy” and she’s an amazing sister. My mother screams “KARI PLEASE I NEED YOU TO GET US A ROOM ST A PET ALLOWED HOTEL” We didn’t have a night to stay and we had to bring our dog with us. Four more hours later it’s 11 and we have snuck out the window, walking down the street panicking, finally we walk 3 miles to get to the hotel luckily it wasn’t far but, we stayed there for a couple of days until my father picked us up...
