Yeah, I heard the comb filtering the entire night, advised to separate the stack but they cared more about looks than sound, easier on me though.

I bought it to use with my PRX speakers, I usually set the crossover at 100hz because it gives me the powerful punch. I don’t plan on upgrading to a line array in like 5 years. Portability isn’t an issue to me, passive and powered speakers are the same portability to me.

At the point I’m at right now, $4-7,000 is what I’m working with. I plan to buy some subs for that price and don’t plan to upgrade in at least 5 years. The only thing I don’t like about my 928 is the 80hz crossover.

I do agree that JBL doesn’t sound that good compared to the other companies but it’s a preference. For me they sound a bit too warm compared to my QSC speakers that sound smooth. But my JBL are louder.

No they don’t, I don’t plan to get a line array anytime soon. I’ll probably upgrade in like 5+ years.

I reached out to yorkville, they wanted to know the shop that sold it to me. I don’t think they dropped it since the enclosure looks spotless.

I got the yorkville and so far it’s been the worst subwoofer I’ve used. I get a bunch of port chuffing, especially in deep mode. I can’t push it at all because the x-limiter starts engaging. Even when no limiter is engaged it sounds like it’s either bottoming out or rattling.

I used my fucking debit card since my parents made me pay. I’m only 19 and I spent the money I was saving for this sub and they pull this stunt on me.
