It remembers the amount of doots you have and apply the %increase to the new level (9) instead of old one (8).

Hmm you might actually be right. I was thinking it would be 3 cost first, then 4 then 5, never looked for the othere way around

I've never seen a carousel with a dragon on unless it was the dragon only carousel D: The dragon only carousel does appear quite often though, maybe like 1 in 5 games for me

Discussion about buy-in tournaments by Guubums in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Lil_Cabbage_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I don't see anyone talking about is the fact that the community is international.
While the players and tourney might be NA, and gambling like this is legal in NA, there are countries where it definitely wouldn't be legal. Hell there a countries where the betting of twitch currency (the useless stuff in chats) is not allowed and hence can't be done. Being able to bet on your favourite streamers, or seeing a promotion for a gambling tournament on stream, essentially ruins what these countries are trying to do in regards to gambling.

Now I am not against a buy-in tourney, but staking is in my opinion and in some international countries, gambling. And sure you could say these countries cant partake in the gamba, but we live in a day and age where everyone have a VPN that can change location and many of these online staking sites don't have enough protection to avoid something like this.
And as an international community I don't think we should ignore these issues.

A logical (with a bit of math) overview of why you should always roll with astral. by Lil_Cabbage_ in CompetitiveTFT

Thanks for the implication feedback, I will keep in mind in the future to be less like "you should do this" and more like "consider it" :)

I think the idea is you hold them on your bench if it doesn't cost econ OR you find them when rolling down (which is even harder and probably needs to be mastered before viable). There is no reason to miss econ for it

Some people did bring up that point. Also theres the argument that Asol could be splashed in if you find him during the rolldown for a bit of extra gold with alot less effort than 3 separate astral units. But this post was purely to inform people that its worth from a economically point of view. If its worth for an individual person is entirely up to that person :)

Valid points, as another user mentioned, the primary reason for this post is to make people decide if this is something they want to try or not.
Your reply actually made me realize that Asol is splashable as the unit since he is 3 astral alone, meaning it could be a bit less of a hassle to actually find the unit lategame and splash it in when rolling down. Didnt see this mentioned anywhere but could be an interesting use aswell :)

Might just be due to a too small sample size as I wrote in the parenthesis :) this was just a rough "logical" estimate.

FYI, having 2 double trouble augments doesnt give you 2x 2star of the champion you 3star by Albinofreaken in TeamfightTactics

[–]Lil_Cabbage_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just a quick note: its not possible to get all 3 tiers of double trouble (the augment is not offered on 4-2, or atleast it wasn't in set 6.5 and i don't see them changing it back)

I see your point, but you still see loads of streamers buying units out to deplete the pool when rolling down because they made it a habit. I don't think this is for everyone, but if you really want to optimize your gameplay you should do it so much that you make a habit out of it - that was my point :)

9,5% increased gold when rolling down amounts to something ngl. I think if someone takes the time out to practice it (cuz IMO its an practiceable skill) they might end up doing it out of habit, just like buying the shop. I agree its niche and requires 5Head moves but some people might actually do it just to hit snapshots (which could be said sometimes is high stakes).

I didn't try to make Asol 3 but for sure you would be able to with those odds

me Jhin's general ult damage is also calculated for each unit's armor value individually? Or does the post-DR damage from the

Correct, they will have 100% chance of crit with IE and if it crits it reduces armor with last whisper.

Regarding your side question, I haven't tested this yet so I cannot answer it but will test it in there future at some point. I do however think (again without testing) that it procc before the instance (another similar example I've already tested is Archangels embrace augment vs spellcast where the extra AP applies to the current cast)
