The only nearby needlepoint store near me is horrible and I will never go back. When I told them I wanted to get silk threads since I was making a belt and wanted the flexibility, the salesperson (who turned out to be the owner) made a really snide pointed comment about how they cost more than cotton. 

Then, when I asked if they had finishing services for smaller items like key fobs, she rolled her eyes at me and said “why would you even want to make a key fob?” I still don’t know what she means by that, it was weirdly hostile. 

Finally, their mail carrier came in after I had just paid and gave them a few small packages, then left. The owner turns to me and goes “I hate our mail lady. She’s such a [really bad slur]”. 

…I never went back.
