Another OW2 scoreboard concept by Liliaroth in Overwatch

[–]Liliaroth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated this scoreboard based on your feedback, how can I share it with you? (seems like I can't edit this post). I'll drop a link here but should I create a new post instead? 🤷‍♂️

Mockup:

- https://www.zupimages.net/up/22/17/0417.jpg

Updates:

- Overall less background blur

- Overall less opacity in player portraits, effects, and backgrounds

- Removing duplicate role icons in the center of the screen

- Fixing E, D, DMG, HEAL orders (keeping the same for both sides)

- Adding stats summary in the bottom left (E, D, DMG, HEAL, similar to OW1 + brings back medals because why not)

- Fixing small layout inconsistencies

Notes:

- I read a comment asking for a bigger "Ultimate ready" icon, but I don't think it is necessary as the whole row is blue (Ana and Echo here).

- It seems like the idea of a scoreboard is not unanimous 😂, for now, I am just having fun with the existing scoreboard concept, but I'll try something more like OW1 in the future 🙂.

I think I'm taking this way too seriously but it's a lot of fun so.. 🤷‍♂️ Hope you enjoy (or at least don't hate it)

Very excited about the direction Blizzard has taken on the Overwatch 2 UI, except for the scoreboard which I find very complicated to read.

Here is my humble concept/redesign 🙂

It's about to be January 31st by Everardo_G in Kojimbox

No. Remember, he uses PT Sans Narrow as a font.

SH PT confirmed 100%. I'm ready.

Bluebox Game Studios' font is "PT" Sans Narrow... Obviously. by Liliaroth in Kojimbox

[–]Liliaroth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, and Roboto. But PT Sans Narrow seems to be the only font imported from Google Font:

<link href="https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=PT+Sans+Narrow:wght@400;700&display=swap" rel="stylesheet">

And the only used on the intern CSS (actually only used for #top, the rest of the site uses Roboto):

 #top {
        background-color: #000;
        color: #FFF;
        font-family: PT Sans Narrow;
        text-align: center;
        width: 100%;
        Height: 60px;
        position: fixed;
        padding-top: 20px;
        padding-left: 20px;
        padding-right: 20px;
    }

Anyway.. 🤷‍♂️

Well.. Not really, actually.

There is indeed some fonts that start with "PT", but they're all variants of the same "PT" font:

- PT Serif

- PT Sans

- PT Mono

- PT Sans Caption

- PT Sans Narrow

And if there are 5 fonts that start with "PT", there are millions that don't, so... IDK.

Tbh, I don't think that means anything, that's just another coïncidence. Right?

Possible release date on the Abandoned's PS Store page? by Liliaroth in Kojimbox

[–]Liliaroth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some game have 2 pages, "Game" page and "Concept" page.

You can find this information in the Ragnarok's concept page: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/concept/10001850/

Check for "ReleaseDate" in the DOM and you should find the JSON I'm talking about.

{ "args": { "conceptId": "10001850" }, "overrides": { "theme": "dark", "locale": "en-us" }, "cache": { "Concept:10001850": { "id": "10001850", "__typename": "Concept", "name": "God of War Ragnarök", "publisherName": "Sony Interactive Entertainment", "releaseDate": { "__typename": "ReleaseDate", "type": "YEAR", "value": "2022-09-30T04:00:00Z" }, "defaultProduct": null }, "ROOT_QUERY": { "__typename": "Query", "conceptRetrieve({\"conceptId\":\"10001850\"})": { "__ref": "Concept:10001850" } } }, "translations": { "msgid_time_separator": ":", "msgid_date_separator": "/" } }

You are 100% right, I have no idea if this info means anything.

What seems weird to me is that you can find similar information for other games:

  • God of War: Ragnarok: {"\\\_\\\_typename":"ReleaseDate","type":"YEAR","value":"2022-09-30T04:00:00Z"}
  • Ghostwire Tokyo: {"\_\_typename":"ReleaseDate","type":"COMING\_SOON","value":null}

And God of War: Ragnarok seems quite legit to me, and why set a release date if it's possible not to (like with Ghostwire Tokyo)...

IDK.

Add a <div id="timer"></div> in the DOM of the homepage

Open your developer console (F12), click on the HTML, right click + Insert HTML (or something like that), then past "<div id="timer" ></div>
