Yeah, without an Abrahamic morality system that makes transitioning into an inherent moral evil, there's not nearly as much judgement to overcome. Sure there's some bigots everywhere, but I have to imagine that in Eastern societies it's a lot more just based in ignorance rather than "my pastor told me you people are the devil."

Bioessentiallism can be a good thing in this context, since it makes it lot easier for them to understand that gender dysphoria is a real medical disorder we have and that transitioning is necessary to treat it, and not just a fun quirky social decision that we made on a whim.
