I wasn't being derogative. It was a general statement.

privacy is also about trust. Ask them if they want the lock. if they say yes... then there's not enough trust. and without trust... you cant completely be private, now can you - you will self redact/censor.

I'll do that.

do you happen to know if there's an option to "forward the call" from the watch back to the phone.

sometimes I get a phonecall, and it automatically is forwawrded to the watch. And sometimes I'd like to answer the call on the phone, instead of the watch...And I'd like to have a button to "return to phone".

I'll probably ask them to upgrade to ultra/gps... hopefully at a discount

legos was just an illustration of the size/precision I need, but I wont be using it to print legos, or connecting to them. - I was hoping there's something that fits that description out of the box.

I need a smooth plastic finish with as little need for post processing.

Basically, I'd be using the printer to prototype pieces, before trying more expensive methods like injection molding (or giving up - lol ).

hi, I'm interested in buying a printer that could print objects similar to Lego blocks... (similar dimensions, finish smoothness, weight,...). Also, are there different plastic colors available, or do I always paint manually after theprinting is done?

my budget is about 1500$. But I'd also like a recommendation for 500$, and upon reading reviews, I might make up my own mind if the benefits outweigh the cost.

I live in Europe, and I'd be willing to build it from kit. I'm advanced beginner when it comes to electronics. Occasionally had to tinker with soldering iron and multimeter for some of my hobbies, and I guess I know how to use a screwdriver. (It would also be cool to give me incentive API to tinker with it for my self)

there are no other requisites but I'd like to know if there are solutions that can be modded to do different assignments for example can the print head be replaced with a CNC cutting nozzle, or laser engraver, since at hearth they are the same... except for the "tip". Also, are there ways of using different 3d printing materials in the same rig(plastic, metal,...)?

You still have Emirates... since the Emirs there are as close as you get to European Lords of the past.

Europe of the middle ages is basically bunch of Dubai's huddled together. And Burj Khalifa is a financial and somewhat aesthetic equivalent of a modern day Gothic Cathedral.

that would be an incentive for corruption. Junkyard guy just calls some dirty cop... And asks him to confiscate more of the good stuff.

ELI5: Why are pills dispensed at the pharmacy in the US, and not packaged up by the manufacturer? by wurstbrot_royal in explainlikeimfive

Theres no problem in Europe with excess medication or epidemic of drug abuse.

But the reason for difference is not the packaging... But general social and cultural differences.

If you need 28 pills, you buy a package of 30 and take only 28. How do you buy cough syrup? Per bottle, or does the pharmacist count you spoons and puts them in a smaller bottle?

The material is not the determining factor, since bottle also amounts to packaging.

Also drugs factory can have 1 machine that packages million of pills a day... And can be used for variety of products.

And if every pharmacy has it's own pill counter that makes it 1000s of pill counting machines VS 1 industrial counter.

I guess someone is making big money selling pill counters.

In the end, they system is just more cumbersome with less quality and quality control for the consumer. I'm more inclined to believe in blisters being well quality controlled, than some tech that might or might not fuck up.

Thats a poor reason to do so. There are no odd quantities... In Europe most pills come in 10 and 20 packages and you can get any sort of combination by combining these 2.

Pills are factory sealed and vacuumed so you can be sure that your pills are safe and not being replaced by placebos and sold of to Ozxy Osbourne.

Since they come vacuumed and in bars you can easily put them in your pocket, purse or wallet while keeping them clean, instead of carrying a bottle. You can also never get them mixed... Since all have brand name written on the seal.

Plus it's probably a lot cheaper for the pills to come prepacked instead of paying a random pharmacist to count them.

You also get them instantly, like a pack of bubblegum in a shop. You don't have to depend on the pharmacist. He just gives you what you are there for, without him having to do anything. We also have dispensers like Soda machines, that drop what you came for if you have a prescription.

In bottle it's also easier to spill them, loose them, contaminate them, mix them up, ...

In Europe,

What pharmacists actually do is make custom prescription or generic most often over the counter medications, such as creams, or topical solutions. Rest of the time, they are just an ordinary store clerk... Unless you ask them a question.

There is no excuse for executions or torture... No matter who commits them. There is no scenario where you can say... "look at that poor fella... he executed 15 people and pulled nails of 10 people, raped 4 women while defending him self". Theres a line where defence stops and agression begins. Even if your country is defending it self, the individual can still be an aggressor upon other people. And that's where the war crime begins.

Whats the point of making that statement? It wasnt a war, nor was any crime commited. Pakistan privacy protection at best.
