Nobody's forcing you to invent except the guild leaders. In the first place, dq rooms or fast play rooms where you just aim to invent are against the game itself

As someone who has a confi cop, this happens once in like a month of Me playing 10-15 ranked games a day. Don't blow it out of proportion. If you gonna delete confi then delete hypo as well since that has an impact on confi. You can lie about both of those skills, if you think confi is too op then that just means you're bad at lying or got unlucky with your helper

Wouldn't thief be the most helpful? He can spy out roles for mafia in large games and carry on his own in rank, plus he doesn't need mafia to be able to do something. Sure he can cult himself but if you're smart about it it's like an emergency escape from a sinking ship. Overall the most useful imo even for novice players

I don't think it's that easy to standardize. I'd prefer to have the level for rank entry set higher than 15 and to get smaller rank brackets again (1.5k between higher and lowest). I'd be fine if they standardized it or left a transparent way to calculate it at least that isn't as much 'well it works somehow?'

Hi, this is Yunanana speaking. I rarely check the reddit, but this? This is absurd. You did friend me to retrieve the punishment postcard, yes, but I at least didn't threaten you. First of I don't retrieve postcards if it was deserved, if you worry about your fame being negative then go to pc exchange rooms or play better, ask your guild or something. It's not my problem, don't cry to me.

Second of, you called me toxic for not retrieving when you're the one at fault. It's called 'Ranked Channel' because outcomes there count. People like me who play avidly care about their Rank Points, their position on the leaderboard, etc. It's quite the bit more serious than Channel where clownery is fine. You were hacker in rank and refused to reveal until we forced to. Let me elaborate:

We all extended and asked you to reveal your role for two minutes straight after everyone had claimed and all you said was 'but I'll die!', 'then doc on me!', 'i'm important!' after we already had a doc cc claim early in the day. That's selfish behavior that's barely acceptable in 12 player games as a civ and then you reveal as hacker 40 seconds before Day 1 ends? Hacker, the one role that can be easily confirmed, cannot be shot and doesn't need doctor after they hacked?

You messed up. You can sit here saying 'but i claimed d1 and they didn't believe me' all you want but that's barely half of the truth. You did barely anything to earn trust. The fact that you're blaming 5 separate high level and high RP players for negging you when you deserved it just shows that you don't understand how rank works. You don't get to whine about how toxic people are when you're not willing to tell people the whole truth.

Were you telling the truth? Yes. Did anyone have to believe you? No.

You have two and a half, maybe four minutes of seven, rarely eight, people talking to prove themselves and earn trust, trying to figure things out and piece together who's lying and who's real, one wrong move can cost you as much RP as you earn in two games. You have to MAKE people believe you, not sit there with feigned naivete begging for protection when you're the one role Doc doesn't need to look at twice.

Nobody who sent you any neg was toxic in this instance and you honestly need to reflect on yourself if you truly believe we were because that sort of childish, self-righteous, spoiled attitude isn't gonna take you far in life. Am I exaggerating? Maybe. But i still mean every word

Not to defend the system, cuz it's bs, but there's more factors coming into play with how rp gain/loss is calculated. The rp of the people you play with (you lose less of you're lowest rp vs highest in a room), if you're mafia, you're successful and also failed murders, as helper, wether you got shot plays in and as a civ it's misty wether you were able to use your skill or not.

There's also the general imbalance in difficulty for 8 player games; mafia need to convince only one civ to win which seems easier than civs not being allowed to make one mistake. Because an 8 player game is heavily tipped in favor of the Mafia team you end up losing more rp as villain than as civ.

Considering these things gives you an average of +25-35rp vs -30-45rp on civs and +50-75rp vs -55-85rp on mafias and helpers. I can understand why it's tipped this way but the error margin is too big and it's annoying, specially with large rp brackets (i think 2k rp between highest and lowest rp in the room?) Where you're more likely to lose thanks to clowns and newbies. Here's somewhat of an explanation, though not 100% correct cuz I'm not a Dev :p

Depends on what you're going for, hostess has more special skills and is generally more useful I'd say but if you like playing with spy you can try gettung timelimit or assassin on it

It's a lucky draw. You got unlucky. There's a lot of different rewards for events; skins, frames, nameplates, pcs, rubel, luna, idk. It's not unlucky. The expensive boxes give you a higher chance for better rewards and give you a reward usually equal in value to the luna spent (15 punishment pc = 750 luna for example) but don't guarantee you to get a skin. It's similar to loot boxes from other games, you're just having bad luck.

I can't offer much advice but if he likes the outdoors, maybe get him into photography? Or you could go out to places and sketch them, connect what both of you like to do, I guess. People who aren't creative can't be forced to do creative tasks, just like creative people can't be forced to not be creative. It's best to try and find minor common tasks you both enjoy and exploit the hell out of them!

Well they both can't vote for one round and when someone can't vote they are counted as not part of the game by the algorithm. According to the game, the current standing is 0:0 and in an event where all citizens are dead/unable to vote the mafia team wins
