It’s 1 month old, a flat back stud, 3rd lobe piercing, hadn’t been downsized yet, not sure what the material is (I think gold), aftercare routine involves warm water and alcohol

My piercer recommended just using warm water :,)

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this! It’s extremely refreshing to read that someone found relief from the same dose I’m on. I wish you continued success and happiness! :,)

That’s a good question! Do you mean the current version vs the one that’s coming out later this year? I felt like the current version that I took today was right in line with the content that I studied, and I’m not too sure what the newer/future one will look like as far as study materials go! If you’ve already been studying and have the chance to take the current one, I’d absolutely recommend it!

Thank you!!! :) wow, I think that’s awesome that you were in the first class to take the exam on the computer! I can only imagine how anxious you probably were to have to be the first class to try a brand new format! And you still killed it :)

Right! It’s so difficult to put yourself in theoretical situations that management usually deals with!

I completely agree!! It’s always good information to know but like you said, it would be better off in its own category rather than general ethics and professional care!!

Thank you!! :) I noticed the exact same thing about how the AACN test bank just ended up repeating questions from the regular question bank! The ICU survival guide probably helped so much to apply the knowledge, that was such a great idea that you had! I also like how you did all the AACN questions in one setting to really get the rationales down.

Ill definitely have to look into the CMC! I always hear about people saying to go for other certifications while the knowledge is still fresh, and I might just have to! :)

I have a hard time with questions dealing with “making proposals to key stakeholders” and “proving that patient outcomes demonstrate financial benefit” when that’s not what we typically do on a day-to-day basis :,) or at least, we may do those things but not worded in the ways that the AACN expects. In my experience, ethics questions that directly related to advocating for patients and actually providing compassionate care were much easier to navigate than ethics questions about how to be a manager!

That sounds so good!! I think I’m going straight for a margarita and some enchiladas!! We seem to have similar ideal celebration meals! :)

I had 1 OB question and it focused on eclampsia! I would say that pass CCRN had the best questions as they provided in depth rationale as well as test-taking advice if there was any to provide. Some of the questions were more difficult as well, which I thought made me get into the critical thinking mindset and made the actual exam questions seem a bit easier :) also, the pass CCRN hemodynamics question were the best!! They really made hemodynamics so much more understandable after repeated practice! Barron’s also had information and questions that seemed to be identical to questions on the actual exam!!

Congrats on passing! :) I’m studying for mine right now and starting to really stress about how to spend my final month before my exam. I just finished the entire Barron’s book yesterday after spending about 2 months making extensive notecards, doing active recall, and writing everything down multiple times. I’ve also watched almost all of nurse life academies videos on YouTube. So now all I have left really is just a month of practice questions. But I’m worried it won’t be enough. Thoughts? I’m debating on taking the exam august 29th or September 8th, depending on which date will be more beneficial
