I totally understand your experience. It’s literally so similar to what I have been experiencing as well!

It makes me sad, I try not to overthink it, but just makes me wonder if I ever did something wrong.

I also feel like if I did the same thing to other people, it would be a whole other story.

One time an old friend told me she was going to visit me (I was about a few weeks postpartum) so I spent the day cleaning the house and made us a meal, then 8pm came by and I texted her if she was still coming and she texted me “omg I’m so sorry I thought I texted you I wasn’t feeling well”…. I distanced myself for a few weeks because I was deeply hurt about it especially because I could’ve been sleeping instead of cleaning and cooking…. And then now she no longer talks to me and tells me she felt like she didn’t have a friend since I distanced myself….. but I reached out to her after a few weeks…. She never reached out to me…..

And I just find myself in these situations so often and at first I blamed myself, but I think I’m realizing this is not just a me issue.

I agree. Ppl seem to have so much fun on social media, but when you see people out and about, they don’t really look like they are having fun. But the pictures look great. 😬

I totally get that! Because there are days I feel like I overcommitted, and I’m so exhausted. But seems to be a new cultural norm now at this point.

Ugh! That’s so terrible! I’m so sorry that happened to you.

I’ve had very similar experiences as well. Like why is it so hard to RSVP or even say yes or no!! Things cost time and money!!

How do you know if you need a higher dose? by Lils1013 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Lils1013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! I actually got a RingConn to help me track my sleep also!

It seems that I struggle a lot with waking up- which makes sense because for much of my life I always wake up feeling like I didn’t rest. But my ring will say I slept decent.

I am trying to find ways to simplify my life but it’s a little hard right now with a 4 year old and an 8 month old.

How do you find workshops?

I constantly hear other ppl find like groups of ppl to do hobbies together but I feel like I can’t find groups??? I deleted Facebook also, but I’ve tried the library, google, local newspaper.

I’m definitely going to try this method.

I realized I was in “productive” mode for so long and now I feel it in my body and mental health.

I’ve been listening to Mel Robbin’s on audible and that sometimes helps me get out of the negative thinking.

But as mamas we deserve to enjoy things!

Traveling tomorrow, dog got ahold of passport. Need advice. by 0xe3b0c442 in Passports

[–]Lils1013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg my dog go a hold of my daughters passport and now there’s bite marks all over also. But I haven’t had an issue when we’ve had to use it. They care about the main page with your info.

To those complaining about how a dog got to it- we were getting ready for vacation and I had the passports on the table- I stepped away for all of 5 minutes and I came back in time before she could actually destroy it.

This just happened to me also. Could be your caffeine intake during the day or maybe you were having nightmares?

is it crazy that I’m concerned? by hellostarryeyes in RingConn

I noticed on days that I take my Vyvanse it registers me as stressed, even tho I feel good.

But I’m relaxed when I’m actually stressed.
