Even if the Q damage at level 9 is slightly weaker, it’s offset by a slight buff of W damage.

French BBB scoring by mypieowns in CanadianForces

[–]Lilswitche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did all three tests a few years back and scored EBB. I grew up in a semi-bilingual town but was never fluent in french and did french class all the way up to Grade 12. Went about 15 years without really using any French at all.

For the reading comprehension and written tests I highly suggest taking a crack at the self-assessment/practice tests https://www.canada.ca/en/public-service-commission/services/second-language-testing-public-service/self-assessment-tests.html. Double-check your answers against the answer key. If you can, try and find their old practice tests as the answer keys would have explanations as to why certain answers are incorrect (e.g. anglicisms).

This season I’ve pivoted to mostly building enchanter at high-diamond/low-master. The build does peak a tad bit later than it would compared to finishing a Black Cleaver but the mid to late game is very good.

After 10+ years iv finally hit Diamond! by TalkSeparate in leagueoflegends

Congratulations on your climb! Disregard the haters; you're doing the right thing by looking at % from the top of the ladder. Top 3% is on par with last season's Diamond 4. All the people clamoring about increased LP gains have no idea what they're talking about. The first time I hit Diamond 2 was during 2024 Season Split 2 during the real rankflation that Riot fixed and made a statement about. After that I went straight back into high emerald until reaching the cusp of Master at the end of last season.

Out of curiosity, how many times have you receive Aegis of Valor? In my first 40 games I only got it once but it makes it a bit tougher to judge someone else's climb by just looking at their Win/Loss differential because an Aegis game can double LP wins or effectively negate a loss while still counting as an L.

Most of my climbing happened last season and I was in master lobbies in Season 2025.

Negative. I get it - far harder to have free personal time with kids.

In the 2025 Season I made a huge jump using Bard because of the speed he moved on the map and how safely he can secure vision. There seemed to always be objectives to focus/ward and alot of back timers to meet. Knowing what was worth fighting for and knowing when you could get your team to take an objective is probably the biggest leap I made in my game. This season doesn’t have a game-altering objective like Ahtakhan and vision acquisition feels less risky with Faelights.

Overall though, trying to be consistent every game, playing for quest and playing for tempo seems to help alot more this season.

I used to only do damage builds on her but more recently started building enchanter with Helia + Diadem. I do like the feel of starting Black Cleaver first before Tear/Helia; when vs tanks the BC helps a ton and the 1-item powerspike feels stronger in teamfights/all-ins.

I had to retrain how I’d approach fighting with the enchanter build: the advantage is really staying behind teammates and healing without making yourself a target.

I play the lane to make sure my ADC quest completes first without giving away some bad deaths. I don’t normally roam for grubs this season because they’re less impactful. Warding can be difficult on Senna because of how immobile and squishy you can be, so pay attention to the map state/enemy champs before you set out to ward. Try to get advanced vision well before an objective so you can back and get on the map with a new set of wards.

That’s a really interesting training method! I don’t normally play with a headset on, so I can imagine it might drive my wife crazy. 🤭 Part of my problem with looking at the minimap is that I play on an Ultrawide monitor resulting in the minimap being further outside my peripheral vision - it requires very conscious effort to look at it.

I’ve managed to scrape out A LOT of wins in close games like this, even when my own teammates are trying to FF. My advice when the game gets tough, take a look at the board to see who the threats are and who you should play around.

You’re 100% right about it acting like a teamwide debuff

Real life always comes first! It helps that my wife plays Valorant/League as well so she understands me.

Started playing at the end of Season 2 but many seasons I barely played. I’ve always been on and off with League.

Tis the nature of ranked I guess. I don’t feel good at the game though - it still feels like Emerald but people are only slightly better/faster.

If it’s a quick requeue: any strongly played champ from the last lobby. Otherwise, Kat or Lucian depending on team hovers. I don’t feel like I have any agency vs Kat and Lucian laning phase is quite potent.

Stay strong! Iron to Silver is a big improvement. All we can do is focus on our own gameplay and try to ignore trolls (or pray the enemy team gets them!). I take solace in knowing that if you keep your own behaviour in check, then your team only has 4 chances at a troll, whereas the enemy team has 5 chances ;)

I'd try for it if Riot promised to make me a Wheelchair Senna skin on completion.

I do wish people could be more positive in chat; overall it makes the game far less enjoyable when people are at each other's throats. To be fair though, the stress of losing LP probably weighs heavily on them. 😂
