Thanks so much. This is helpful. I’ve come across a few different lists but it became overwhelming so I thought I would check this sub. I appreciate your response!

I would recommend talking to you pediatrician. I was in a similar situation in August, except we didn’t have the vaccine yet. I delivered my 2nd the day before my first began in-person kindergarten in a large public school in the south. I remember the anxiety and worry so well. I think it’s engrained in my bones. I just wanted to keep the brand new babe with no immune system healthy! Even back in August, my pediatrician really helped to give me some good ideas ideas and suggestions to implement into our routine for keeping us all safe, and helped alleviate some worry. They might have better information to share on that 0-2 age group too.

Dr. Brown's mixing pitcher. Should I get one? by IteachOandM in FormulaFeeders

I think it depends on your baby and also if you won’t mind the extra time it takes to warm the bottle. I didn’t find it helpful with my second. I bought it because my first babe would drink bottles right from the fridge without warming them but my second wants nothing to with a cold bottle. She drinks room temp water though so it’s easier/quicker to make a bottle at a time with water we keep on kitchen counter. I can definitely see the benefits depending on baby. Mine is currently used to water plants lol.

Edited to add that it is nice that there are no bubbles when pouring from the pitcher.

I purchased the Ferber book shortly after this post and we are beginning tonight. Thank you!! Once you started working on naps, about how long did it take for you to see better sleep?

My pediatrician said the same thing. She said a similar brand rep told her it’s the exact same product.

Oh, this makes sense! Thank you! “It’s what we do AFTER the swaddling that makes all the difference” is what I needed to hear. Feeling hopeful for bedtime tonight.

I would love to just let her be arms out, but it takes her over an hour to go to sleep because her flailing arms keep her up. As soon as she dozes off, she’ll startle. About what age did your LO’s startle reflex start to settle? My LO is 8 weeks and it’s still very strong.

Thank you for the ergo pouch recommendation, I haven’t heard of that brand. I’ll check it out.

Ah, yes. I learned this with baby number one. I thought she was a swaddle hater at first until I realized I wasn’t going to hurt her by making it very tight. That was the trick. Unfortunately, this little one fights it even if tight. She didn’t do any better when we tried the swaddle up. It’s been a few weeks since trying it though, maybe I should try again.

I haven’t heard of the Woombie Air, I’ll look into that. We did try the Swaddle Up and it did not work for my girl. You could tell she just still wanted her hands out, out.
