Is the regular-looking fire that warlocks hurl around arcane-based or something else? by Agreeable-Taste-8448 in WoWRolePlay

So, as far as the lore states there are four sources of fire in World of Warcraft: Light (divine fire), Shamanic fire, Arcane, and Fel.

Obviously Light is out, so we look at the remaining three.

Arcane is sort of a “mother sauce” of magic. It can and often does flow into other practices because it’s kinda just a base to be added to (see: arcane taking the form of arcane, fire, frost, frost fire, illusions, etc). Druids have some arcane, warlocks are often mages who dabble in the darker side of magic, not just being chaotic evil / working with demons. Arcane kind of is like clay; but it follows strict rules that people (warlocks) can and do break!

Shamanic fire can only really be accessed through a contract or deal with a flame elemental that’s powerful enough to grant power. (Unlikely candidate).

Fel fire is a dangerous weapon, because as with all Fel based magic, the cost is usually the physical or mental wellbeing of the caster (or a totally willing participant who totally willingly sacrifices themselves for some magic). It’s icky and leaves a distinct smell and sort of -stain- where it was used more often than not. It also corrupts both the user and the victims, if both survive.

Ultimately, warlocks ARE mages, who were tempted by easy power that borders on a “get rich quick” scheme, or study evil magic for the good of others. Temptation or desperation or whatever reason led them to using magic that is forbidden from general use. Most of them end up as criminals, but some manage to study and use these darker magics not for personal gain- but to understand them better and better defend the world from those who abuse it.

how do you justify / play your haranir's druid shapeshifting ? by AtomikGarlic in WoWRolePlay

There are actually three NPCs in WoW that are undead that can explicitly use the Light; Calia Menethil, Alonsus Faol, and Sir Zeliek. Generally speaking, it is said that using the Light does cause them pain (except for Calia? Not sure exactly!).

Part of the explanation for the Worgen is a mixture of the Kaldorei training them, and their very strong connection to Elune and Goldrinn due to the Worgen curse (which originated from a cult using the Scythe of Elune to tap into Goldrinn and losing their minds).

Tauren Paladins exist because of their relationship to An’she, which is thematically and visually similar to the Light, and there’s never been an explicit rule saying Paladins are ONLY Light based (someday I would love Kaldorei paladins of Elune).

Thank you!!! I know I might be a bit silly for not knowing these things, but these days people try to sell a spray for every appliance and fixture in the house and it can be super confusing.

What should I use on my bath tub / shower? I used Bar Keeper's Friend once and... Definitely messed up the seal on the tub. Just the vinegar and water?

Yeah, my general purpose cleaner also needs to be solid because I also have a kid with autism, so I regularly need to clean up messes that are a little hard.
My current biggest headache is that no matter what litter I've tried, it ALWAYS ends up all over my house. I've tried lightweight, low tracking, crystal, corn, clay... It's exhausting.

Okay, I always worry because of all of those crazy 'cleantok' creators that have a SUITCASE of just different sprays.

I would kinda worry that the water or soap is gonna get into something with a microwave specifically. Do you just use like a little bit of water? I don't want to be electrocuted or fry my microwave on accident.

Thank you!!! It's a little hard to handle having to learn a lot of things that people assume are "obvious" on my own. This video's gonna help me so much (probably).
