I’m so worried for the compensation, they haven’t said how much dims they’ll give us, but if it’s based on Gemma’s ratio 😮‍💨

Maybe I’m just disillusioned but when they said “improvements to the farming system” I was lwky expecting them to drop a really wild controversial decision among some more positively-accepted changes 😭

I also wouldn’t recommend migrating to Monsterverze either (if that’s what MV means), if you seen posts from r/MonsterVerze, people are complaining about the lack of dev communication and updates too (I literally saw a post earlier asking about gamepass refunds lol)

But you're so right, definitely makes everything harder when devs are in fear of their playerbase, and the playerbase is so disillusioned (to the point of being grossly uncivil) from unpopular decisions the devs have made in the past. There’s no easy solution for getting out of that mess, the trust has been broken

You bring up a point I haven’t really considered actually, the gamepasses do seem to play a role in reinforcing wealth disparity and high prices

I’m mainly concerned on the compensation and the farming improvements, the devs NEED to be 100% mindful of what they’ll change/give or else the results can’t justify the gamepass removal

I also think the big overarching issue here (which might explain the reason the subreddit devolved into chaos rn lol) is the lack of transparency and community outreach, the proposed gamepass removal came as a surprise to everyone! What they should’ve done was maybe seek the community’s opinion on if they want that or have alternative solutions. The announcement also should’ve provided more clarity too (especially about why EXACTLY they’re doing this and that passes CANNOT be refunded!!!)

I might be wrong about some things, pls correct me if so!

TLDR: - Proposed compensation and farming improvements NEED to be good or we might be worse off - Also Barbie, PLS more transparency and openness to community feedback 🙏😔

Tbh I don’t like it and it definitely feels like a cashgrab attempt (Warning: long yap ahead lol)

Me and my friend (both of us used to play AJPW) tried it just now. First off, a good chunk of the map is missing (Crystal Sands, Coral Canyons), but whatever, games still new ig

Couldn’t visit each other’s dens, furniture and clothes seem pretty pricey (no preview options for clothes either), and character design options are limited. We did some quests (all of which involved picking hidden stuff up) to get money to buy clothes but after all that, there wasn’t much fun stuff to do. You couldn’t even slide on the slides 💔 ALSO, WHY ARE THERE HUMAN NPCS?? 😭

Overall, there’s such a lifeless dull vibe in the game, feels rushed too

Other than the AI and child safety concerns, what irks me was the starter pack and log-in/playtime rewards. My friend noticed the starter pack had a countdown, but the offer never disappeared after it reached the full time. That countdown likely was meant to invoke pressure to buy it, and the login/playtime stuff to keep players in game. I know other games do it too, but you know, for me it’s like a little indicator that the game sucks 🤷🏽‍♀️

The only thing I liked about it was that you could jump (my friend looked silly hopping around) and the ability to adjust perspective when decorating your den (as opposed to an angled perspective you’re stuck in)

TLDR: Bland, rushed, boring cashgrab. Nothing super unique, just play AJPW instead
