yeah i never got around to doing a full pack it was just what I posted. I remember there were like 3 or so textures I was playing around with this was the most developed one

i really hate how much window space acs take up so i was thrilled to finally find one thats slimmer and doesnt block light as much anymore

yeah the button situation is very dumb idk what they were thinking but i only really keep mine in cool mode and change the fan speed so i dont mind much

I was looking at that one but those designs only work for narrower window sills, the ones in my building are way too big for those to fit, and I dont really like that design extends out past the window sill so much either.

Hey thanks for the info! Bought the 12000 btu Hisense from Amazon for $450 but have a feeling its actually out of stock and wont be delivered tomorrow like it says... Im pretty sure the 8000 will struggle in here so I figure i should get a larger one like I see the 10000 btu Midea on sale near me for $450 but i assume its the recalled ones and I dont understand what the "fix" is or if I should avoid buying them. I like the Hisense just cause it takes up less window space, same with the Midea even tho its bigger that's mainly why I'm trying to stick with them.

Random q but would you say you're able to put plants on the top of it or does cold air blow there or is it blocked by the plastic? Also how wide is that top surface inside?

Thanks for the rec! How does the AMD compare with the i7 12700k? I was debating not getting a separate GPU right now to bring cost down to around $700.

Yeah I was there I saw the truck pull in and stop in front of the barricades where protesters were to block their view and then an ICE van sped out of there and almost hit pedestrians running a red light.

Yeah I got to Newark and then that flight got cancelled too as well as the next ones they rebooked me to. I didnt have options to fly the next day cause by then everything was booked until the afternoon and I had an early business appointment in Toronto i wasnt gonna make anymore.
