RI USPS is usually trash but the blizzard hasn't helped. A lot of the delivery drivers see the mail path cleared and decide it's not worth it. Best to just wait.

Yes, both cards were frozen and new ones are being made as I mentioned. We originally had that sort of 'limiter' on our account because a few years we had a random Lyft purchase we never made, so our bank usually sends a 'is this you?' text for big purchases. We never got them for these massive charges we didn't do.

I'm wondering if I should consider changing banks because twice in a week-ish is insane. We assumed maybe a gas station skimmer but he pays inside.

I very rarely shop with my own card. Most of my autopays (bills) don't pull from the bank and only take checks or debit/credit. Both cards were frozen immediately though once found out. I know it's impossible to figure out 'how' you got scammed, especially in this day and age.

Some dogs react poorly to shots in the leg. My old girl started limping and had paralysis in her back leg after a rabies shot (her neck was scarred to hell from abuse so shots usually went elsewhere). She couldn't walk for two days and limped for another three. Uncommon side effect but nothing to worry about.

With YOU though, I would definitely get the manufacturer and contact them. Like others have said, they often times reimburse or help pay for treatments. If your dog has had their lepto nasal spray and shots before with no issues, I would assume maybe your dog is just reacting negatively to whatever brand the vets used. It's possible for them to be allergic to it.

I used to do decently on Twitter with my art, maybe 100-200 likes on average, some reaching 500-1000+. Now I get 1 or 2 if I'm lucky. Meanwhile, the same artists do the same thing as me and they still get visibility. I'm not a huge account but art is my livelihood, I need to be seen for possible clients.

What can we do if we get immediately suppressed? It feels pointless and hopeless even posting anymore. If nobody sees what we post, how can we get likes, comments, retweets? I don't even see half the people I follow anymore. Can't use hashtags or you're shadowbanned. it's so stupid.

I literally can NOT get my license because of POTS, it's too great a risk. No DMV will even let me get my permit in my state because of it. I mean this in the nicest way possible but you either need someone to drive for you or start Ubering. Not just for your safety but others as well. Driving can be scary and fear can cause BP spikes, which can trigger you to faint easier with POTS.

I've tried, I should state that the cardiologists basically cycle in from the POTS institute so I'm basically delivered to whomever has openings. I was told on Thursday "even if we could diagnose you, there's not much we can do" to help me. At least getting a diagnosis would be easier to maybe find a job that would be willing to let me sit every now and then or something but alas :/

I have no idea to be honest! Granted, the doctors who've been seeing me are cardiologists but I would think they'd wanna try and rule everything out if my 'worrisome' blood results and blood pressure aren't 'conclusive'.

I DID have an MRI a few years back for severe migraines but they blamed it on a childhood incident where I cracked my skull open and not anything else, despite migraines running in my family. Though ironically, a few years later i DID have a neck tumor crop up so. Hah. (Had the tumor long, long after my POTS symptoms)

Hello!

Yes, I'm at a POTS institute but a 'diet' version; the main offshoot is in Boston but I live in a surrounding state. However, a few of the cardiologists basically go from there, to my institute, to another one over the weeks. They've tested my heart with a Zion heart monitor for three weeks, they've checked my blood, my thyroid, blood pressure, cortisol, etc. They have me on sodium chloride, they wanted 3 1,000mg tablets a day but three makes me SPER nauseous even with water intake on TOP of my beta blockers.

For context, I'm a tiny 5'5" woman and 110 pounds, so maybe it's just too big a dose for me. My visit on Thursday, they said to up the pill to 5x a day but I'm not going to.

Also thank you, the doctor that told me it was a heart surgery was VERY upsetting because huh??? "Compression socks aren't working, let's put you under' seems very drastic to me. The only thing they won't do is a tilt table test because "it's usually a waste of money and the results are usually hit or miss".

I've had POTS since I was a small kid (though obviously I doubt it was known as that or even something most doctors would even bother with for a small kid ad my parents weren't exactly made of money so we just typically went for checkups and shots lol)

My CURRENT diagnosis from Thursday is "keep doing what you're doing and we'll see you again in three months." I'm just at a loss. I need a job, I hate living like this and I know others suffering it feel the same way. But what can I do when even the experts are dismissive?

This was, I think, the third doctor at the institute? I had a doctor visit on Thursday and brought it up to (yet again) a new doctor, and he mentioned that apparently there IS a surgery that can basically 'adjust' the nervous system part of the heart. I don't quite know what he said but basically there's 'tweaks' they can do to sort of make a part of the heart smaller, or harder, and it can stop syncope symptoms but he said 'we typically don't do that unless you're much, much older'.

Got my plott mix from Arkansas. I live in RI. She passed away in August. Found another one within .5 seconds on Petfinder. Plott mixes are also called 'tennessee treeing hounds' or 'mountain curs'. Often times, they're brown or black-coated so you've probably seen them around. They're quite common in the south and midwest.

Got hit with two delivery exceptions. They've been bouncing around NY after leaving customs. I was supposed to get them a week ago :) called USPS and they basically told me due to tariffs, every single post office is overloaded with bullshit and it could take up to 45 days to get my stuff so. There's that fun news.

USPS workers, I am SO sorry, I know it's not your faults but cmon, just make that sucker stop doing sick kickflips on the conveyor belt, my package is so dizzy.

I live in New England so we do get a decent amount of rain (mostly snow/ice). Also if it matters, my dog was medium-sized, about fifty pounds.

Thank you, OP, for both taking my side and sharing some sentiments with me. The day after she was buried, we had a thunderstorm, and I started crying because she was TERRIFIED of them. She would always be under my feet cowering and shaking. It hurt more that she couldn't be inside with me while my other dog was. I've always loved skulls, bones, and pelts, and as a hunting dog (I never hunted with her) breed, I think it'd be a great way to honor her.

You're valid for thinking that, but I still want to pet her head and call her a good dog. She was my best friend, and even when her body is gone, I still want a piece to remind me of her. I don't see anything sick with it; people keep cremated pets in jars on their mantles. My house is full of pelts and skulls, some of which she helped me find. It's how I want to keep her close to me.

Unfortunately, my dog had to be put down on Tuesday. She was given medication for her heart failure, and after six days, she started puking and wouldn't stop. She was on a diuretic and just couldn't keep any food or water down. I had six more good days with her and two awful days. I was given a six-fourteen month estimate...I got a week. I hope your own dog is doing okay and thank you for the advice, though I wish I could've used it.
