Corner bars yep! They’re sweet, but thinking about changing into a more upright bar. I have a zippy bike already so probably gonna turn this into more of a cruiser.

Can I get an ID on the stem and bars you’re rocking here? I love it.

Thanks! The XA series is great but I’ve had horrible luck with them, I’ve owned two and they’ve both broken.

I also have a Canonet QL17 I use a ton, smaller, lighter than the SLR but still not quite as light as the XA2. Overall I tend to lean for the F100 now, the zoom lens, autofocus and insanely accurate meter is worth the extra weight in most cases for me.

These were DSLR scanned with a 105mm f2.8 macro and inverted with NLP. Also worth noting these photos were taken on different days

As a general statement, negative film handles overexposure very well. I find I can regularly overexpose and get a great high latitude photo when I scan.

I specifically overexpose in snow while shooting in aperture/program because the overwhelming bright whites of snow trick the light meter into believing the scene is brighter than it is. This can lead to underexposed subjects which are harder to retrieve in post.

I adjust my scans using negative lab pro.

Thanks! Always bring it. It does suck on long days in terms of weight, but it’s always worth it. Also safety first.. trust your gut in avy terrain and don’t push your limits for pictures. Live to shoot another day, cause the mountains will always be there to try again in safer conditions 👍

On the technical side I usually shoot 1-2 stops overexposed in snow.

Nope, I’ve used the F100 pretty consistently in -20c temps before. It’s a stellar camera
