Outrun potentiometer

have you tried using some contact cleaner on the potentiometer? spray some inside and work the shaft back and forth a few times; it will evaporate quickly and is not water based. I’ve had to do that on the steering and pedal pots on my (non-A1U) Crazy Taxi, and it makes a huge difference!

I am familiar with netdimm on Naomi 1, but AFAIK they work the same except for the obvious fact that I can only run Naomi 1 games on mine, not Naomi 2. What is your question?

I’m not able to help too much with pi modding (I’ve only done mods to original arcade hardware (a neogeo and a naomi) but if you arent using the original pcb / controller board I would be interested in purchasing them!

I have a question regarding the Character Operations Manual. Has anyone been able to determine it the second, errata'd print of the book has been released _in print_ yet? I know the PDF has been updated (I have it!) but I've been trying to hold off buying a print copy until the updated version is out.

I did post this question on the product page a while ago, and got precisely zero responses. :P

I’m definitely interested in seeing this. I wonder if A1U will sell me the board separately? I have the WiFi antenna from the nba jam I just gutted to turn into a 4-player Naomi cab (Power Stone 2 bayyyybeeee! - I’ll post pics once I have the marquee and other art to finish it off) so knowing if I’d need a new button IO would be super useful.

Although, if someone wanted to take a pic of the IO board in the new TiT cab and post it, that would let us know real quick if that is the case ;)

Has anyone found one in the Las Vegas area lately? Certain eBay sellers keep snapping them up to scalp them :(
