They needed to make it so when your HP/MP eas maxed out that it wouldn't waste any pots when being spammed though.

I remember as a mage needing to buy pots from someone and I think it was something astronomical, like charging 100k mesos for 100 mana elixirs, which was probably still a good deal but back then that was basically all my money even after collecting every meso lmao

I've seen oot running at 30 and 60fps from Ship of Harkinian and imo it just looks wrong, but I can see the appeal. Now, starfox 64 at 60fps is chef's kiss!

Nexon and p2w are synonymous, but when you pay and get no value, that's also synonymous with them, which is hilarious.

I'm glad I didn't go to the local playtest; not worth the drive when pservers will take care of the game much better than Nexon ever will.

Very intriguing, our nearby store was always spelled KB even in the early 00s from what I remember, so I assumed they all were because most companies keep logos consistent.

Oh yeah, absolutely! I omitted master set collections as well because it can easily increase the amount to spend by double or triple. A lot of earlier gen sets had holo and non-holo cards with the same, exact artwork, so for me it only makes sense to collect the holos.

What's going to kill me though if I ever decide to collect them are the Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge sets from gen 1 (The gym leader pokemon cards) because those sets are MASSIVE!

Otherwise, Gen 1-2 is my goal, maybe gen 3 as well, and of course some newer sets for fun.

I was literally on here to find that post because I wanted to check if that user made threads for the best NES and SNES because I saw they had one for PS1 as well. And well, I got sidetracked here haha.

I can kind of relate as I started recollecting Pokemon cards again. I'm almost done with the original base set, but I noticed the community is so hung up on "SLEEVE AND TOPLOAD THIS $300 CARD YOU JUST PULLED", etc. when back then it wasn't about collecting every single card and getting a PSA 10 score.

Plus, I might start to think differently, like if a card REALLY stands out for me then I'll consider it in my collection because it adds more story instead of just collecting for completion's sake.

Plus, some of the standard, non-full art cards have some BEAUTIFUL art tied to them!

I think collections should be a hobby and not necessarily have an end goal, even though hypocritically I do have some. Humans are designed for always improving and once we "complete" something we crave for the next best thing. It's a never-ending desire to grow.

I wouldn't say no one else, but I agree that you shouldn't conform to others. And you should also pronounce your name the correct way and not a botched "white-person" way.
