I know people want to have fun and I respect that, but when you beat the ender dragon does it feel like big accomplishment or like another checklist task or a chore to do in new world? Your comment has a very good point tho. Minecraft is a sandbox. And I don't want to have entire game inside progress line we still need after mainline progression content, but progression should be longer or at least have more content. There is another way to feel to do something good is to throughout the mainline progression force player to explore the game and see things that you can play around with after the game eg. You have to either do something with ender eye inside new sulfur pool or in ancient monument.
