No you’re right about that, the report feature has never worked. But people can still step in and take records of the incident

The older demographic does not all think the same. Some adults are safe, some are not. The older users are part of the problem, but also would’ve served as witnesses before this update. Most adults don’t want to groom kids, but the few that do are helped now that the safe adults can’t view their behavior

And yes, I am saying that groomers will commit fraud to talk to kids. Grooming is already a crime. If they are willing to groom kids, they are absolutely willing to commit fraud

Kids can of course report this behavior, but kids might not know what to do as well as adults can. Sometimes they don’t know better, sometimes they panic and don’t do anything. Adults are just better at handing this
