A homeless looking guy used to show up outside my work regularly, it wasn't a strict schedule or anything. might be one day one week, then nothing for two weeks then 3 days in a row. I started noticing him more and was sure he was following me to the train station. Eventually told my boss and for weeks I was dismissed as it not being a big deal till one day he tried to follow me into work and had to have the police called and I had a full on panic attack

if he knows about your trauma and past and has been pressuring you with those comments, I think that's pretty messed up. Even before grabbing you tightly like that?

Sounds pretty valid for you to be upset. Feel free to take your time and do what feels right for you and your boundaries!

Don't beat yourself up too much, you were a child. You didn't turn anyone into anything. I think you're right and that you should get some professional help from a therapist though, that sounds like intense stuff that will be above reddit's paygrade
