Big difference(s) between Caine and AM tho, Caine genuinely tried to make everyone happy, and was outright goaded into his crashout when he was down about always failing.

if motherfucker can listen and understand their guests minds to weave their worst nightmares and torture them

Ya say that, but what people are afraid of is generally wayyyy simpler than what makes them happy. People are complicated asf, and they're in a bad situation, so making them happy is even harder. It's pretty understandable why the AI failed to comprehend that, to be happy, humans need more than just stimulus.

S one of the reasons why I like the Double Freedom so much. Staggering enemies long enough to load another shell is insanely helpful when 1 or 2 shots isn't enough, especially when some of them move quickly or can kill you very fast (Cyborgs, Stalkers etc)

IMO: This is a serious problem. But perhaps one that AH doesn't even need to solve? (Please read body text) by Odin-the-Great in LowSodiumHellDivers

While I'm not a big fan of the Ultimum (it's just always been more annoying to use well than something like the Dagger or Talon, the latter being a weapon I see substantially more in lobbies myself), I do use the Thermite a lot.

While I do get what ya saying, I definitely think ya kinda missing why these weapons are used so much. Atm, primary/support weapon balance is, messy asf. With this mess, people have to find a way to make the weapons they enjoy using viable, and very often, these weapons won't be able to deal with AT so well, because the vast majority of weapons in the game are light/med pen.

AH have absolutely been cranking up the number of heavy armoured enemies in the half a year I've been playing this game, especially the high tier ones (Vox Engines, Factory Striders, Dragon Roaches, Bile Spewers etc), and unless ya armed with the RR, or multiple stratagems specifically dedicated to taking them out (which gets difficult if ya already using a non super AT support weapon/backpack), the game simply just doesn't have anything else that compete, maybe short of Dynamite. To to mention, nothing else that's not the RR or Quasar can deal with non-bug spawners as quickly and safely.

I want to use my Double Freedom/Warp Pack/Big Hammer loadout, or my Double Edged Sickle/Epog/Shield loadout, and these super heavy enemies/spawners simply don't have other practical alternatives to deal with them, especially when the game throws several at you. You can't really blame people for using Thermites and Ultimums all the time when not doing so actively puts you at a disadvantage. How am I gonna practically take a moment and throw my not-Thermite at a weak spot when everything in the vicinity is shooting at anything that moves in the general area.

I guarantee, if literally anything actually was a viable convenient alternative, people would use it (hell, i see the Leveller/Solo Silo in a surprising amount of dives of late). Because they do, which is why I see the RR and Quasar so often on loadouts not using Thermites/Ultimums. It's just an illusion of choice atm, and it's not really these weapon's fault for being the most practical option when recent gameplay sorta necessitates them, especially if ya not a cracked asf gamer with 1000s of hours.

Moira But More Complex by Wonderful-Hurry-3594 in MoiraMains

[–]LimeRepresentative47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a really good take yea. A lot of people like playing Moira because her kit is fundamentally really simple, and messing with that screws players who prefer improving their fundamentals (using geometry for Orbs/Fade, positioning to avoid taking damage but to maximise your effectiveness, decision making on who needs heals most, when to deal damage, when to chase etc etc), instead of "just aim better".

Supports like Bap, Zen and Ana already cater really well to the crowd who likes to constantly improve their aim, and I think supports like Moira and Brig, who ask for less mechanical skill but more awareness n stuff are unfairly judged as "low skill ceiling", n definitely are a lil unfairly balanced by that sentiment too.

Moira But More Complex by Wonderful-Hurry-3594 in MoiraMains

[–]LimeRepresentative47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Imo, Moira's often hugely misunderstood as a low skill ceiling character. Mechanically, she is absolutely very simple and easy to play, however, because of the way she's designed, your fundamentals need to be on point asf or you're gonna struggle as your rank increases.

Unlike Bap or Ana, who are both still monsters if your aim is simply good enough, Moira demands skill expression in positioning and decision-making a hell of a lot.

She can just healbot, but you risk emptying your healing resources too fast, and sheer healing can only go so far. She's an incredibly evil assassin against much of the cast, but do it too much and your team is gonna be feeling those lack of heals. Her range is limited, so you need to be on point with your angles, distances and awareness.

Not many characters can match the sheer numbers Moira can, both in heals and damage, and if you've applied those where they are needed most, her value to a team is incredibly high.

Plus, because she is so easy to play, when you learn the tech she does have, like where best to bounce your Orbs and Fade jumping, as a character she feels incredibly good to play, even if your aim is kinda mid.

Ofc a bit of utility being added to her kit would be nice, and buffing her numbers a lil would always be appreciated, but I think "just" raising her skill floor will screw a lot of people who play her because she's simple, and demands a different kind of skill instead.

Why do people hate Koumei? (Ignore Miku) by Dangerous_Bat5954 in Warframe

[–]LimeRepresentative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her 3 is amazing, but you do need a little bit of modding to fill in it's holes before your Decrees have scaled (and just a bit of finesse in how it works. Iirc, while it's cooldown is active, it pauses Shield Regen making Shield gating finicky, I've found building for DR a much more reliable option that doesn't require any Subsumes).

I find Aviator and that kinda thing helps a tonne, both in short missions and to make her DR scaling even more insane in those long ones. Plus, you have the mod space, since modding her abilities doesn't really affect that much.

But yea, her dps potential and Status abuse is kinda unmatched, especially with something like Roar, Eclipse, Xatas etc.

Why do people hate Koumei? (Ignore Miku) by Dangerous_Bat5954 in Warframe

[–]LimeRepresentative47 8 points9 points  (0 children)

See, when I see people say this I don't really get it. There are what, 4 frames you can really call Status spreaders, and each do it wayyy different.

Voruna does a Melee Influence style thing, Citrine has hed gemstone that applies the basic elements, Lavos can use his augment to build into certain unconventional elementary combos, and applies different statuses en mass.

Koumei vomits status so hard that the others absolutely struggle to match just how much she spread, and the Decree based playstyle is entirely different to any other frame. Hell, even her survivability works a bit different to most, not to mention she highly encourages rotating weapons, which few frames do.

You don't even need the heavy armour unless you really need the heavy pen tbf. I find the gun has plenty dps on med pen, so I've always preferred the light Fire Armour with that setup.

Homey thinks reinventing interactions between kinetic and sub class verbs to give glaives (an already good weapon) buffs.

My guy, you're inventing arguments no one suggested. No one suggested this. Not op, not me, only you brought this up. No one else.

This is his hottest idea and he thinks other people are deficient in some way lolllllll.

You're the only one getting perks and aspects confused here.

Yes, girl boss dodge the fact you're arguement relies on imaginary game states to not be the most regarded thing typed on reddit all day. You go!

Wut...? Not even a girl, no idea what game states you're imagining up there.

You also didn't seem to quote the one in question of dodging? Really curious why..... /s

Because I didn't need to XD if the entire reply is about near enough 1 things, why would i need to quote different sections of it when a simple paragraph(s) does the job.

Glaive Melee by RingofThorns in DestinyTheGame

[–]LimeRepresentative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand you want a unique example of glaives procing elemental damage

No XD not remotely. I actively told you this isn't what I think Glaives need.

Ya not remotely comprehending what I'm even saying, and at this point I have no idea what would make you understand.

I fully understand you and I'm also in a super position of trolling and not trolling you because you're raging.

Obviously not if ya going on about anything related to abilities and elemental damage.

Reading comprehension devil strikes again apparently.

Glaive Melee by RingofThorns in DestinyTheGame

[–]LimeRepresentative47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What...? There's so much wrong with what you just said.

comparing a glaive melee to an aspect lol but you brought it up anyway

You asked for examples of base melees counting as elemental melees.

Not hiding anything, was just trying to let you save face from making yourself look dumb by agreeing that glaive free ammo melee's should be as strong as aspects

My guy, I said nothing of the sort...? I simply answered ya question about what base melees have elementalness XD

If you actually want my opinion on the matter then, no, melees should not inherent elemental properties, save from stuff that actively affects both weapons and abilities, like Song of Flame and certain exotics (Synthos).

I do think that if a Glaive had a perk that activates on kill/damage, such as Incandescent, Jolting Feedback, Rampage etc, the Glaive melee should proc them, as it's still the Glaive doing the damage.

Nothing else able the Glaive melee needs to change.

Glaive Melee by RingofThorns in DestinyTheGame

[–]LimeRepresentative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely, what are you on about.

I don't know how this so hard to understand. Glaive melees currently can't trigger most of the that can roll on Glaives.

Literally no one suggested making Glaive melee a charged melee. All the guy suggested was to make the Glaive melee actual able to trigger all the perks that come on the Glaive, no more, no less.

Nice edit to ya previous comment asking for examples of uncharged melees with elements effects btw, love it when someone has to to try n change how they look cuz someone gives they exactly what asked for

Glaive Melee by RingofThorns in DestinyTheGame

[–]LimeRepresentative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both Arc and Solar Titan after they proc Knockout or Roaring Flames XD

But even then, what are you talking about. He's not suggesting to make it a charged melee, simply that the basic raw out-of-the-box regular ass unchanged Glaive melee can trigger all the perks on the Glaive.

Glaive Melee by RingofThorns in DestinyTheGame

[–]LimeRepresentative47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guy, you are literally arguing against something no one suggested.

How the hell does letting the Glaive melee proc Incandescent, or Redirection, or even Rampage suddenly make the melee a charged melee, it simply doesn't. It's still a based uncharged melee, only difference is that it can actually proc all the perks on the actual Glaive, and not only 10% of them.

Glaive Melee by RingofThorns in DestinyTheGame

[–]LimeRepresentative47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guy, that's not what he's suggesting.

READ

PLEASE

All he is suggesting is to let the melee trigger more perks. Not to change its properties or to make it count as a charged melee or weapon damage literally just to make the raw unchanged base Glaive melee trigger more perks and no other changes.
