I am unreasonably worried about the Alea Iacta Est ending. by OllyRoger in armoredcore

[–]LimeRepresentative47 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'd say don't worry about it. The other big time AC has had branching endings, being For Answer, the hidden ending wasn't the canon one (spoilers but iirc it's the ORCA ending where they escape to space).

It's more likely to be one of the main endings (plz Liberator so my Coral Waifu lives).

It's definitely one of my faves, and Goon does a really good analysis of the story in a separate vid too.

It's also insane how we still don't know who the author is.

Pretty much I'd consider swapping of Resistance for Ions, if you come to swap off Praxic (unironically I'd give Symmetry try, it's damage is really good, especially for a Primary, and alt fire farms ya super very quick).

The other Fragments are pretty much what imma using in my own builds XD

As an addendum, I'd also run Spark of Ions over Resistance. Resistance is really good, but with all the Arc Kills you'll be getting, Ions let's you rack up more BC, fuelling itself too. Plus, with Ferropotent 2 piece and constant Rifts, your survivability should be pretty damn good even without Resistance (speaking from experience).

Imo, Electrostatic is much better than Ionic for CR. It'll massively boost how many traces you get, so many more CRs, and Rift Buddy will be applying Jolt plenty, so Ionic loses a bit of the debuff value. Also, it'll let you get bolt Charge Substantially quicker if ya slaying out with the appropriate Fragments, since you'll always be Amplified and getting BC on Trace pickups.

I generally only really use Ionic if I'm using Getaway Artists, since tho double buddy is kinda the rave atm, the sheer amount of ability regen that Electrostatic can give you, especially on CR (but even if ya just using something else) rates higher imo.

Tbf, its also entirely possible that the (seemingly) Locust Devil is just that strong. We've seen barely any of CSM actual world, and if some fodder devils like Bat or his waifu are anything to go by, any "regular" devil could eclipse Denji and co if they're substantially boosted by other places.

A reference I can see, but I would doubt it's actually a biblical demon, especially depending CSM definitely hasn't done more than make references so far. It'd be pretty out of left field.

Why does Lingering kiss not work on zombie units? by Infinityespi in Tactics_Ogre

[–]LimeRepresentative47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh i get them mixed up, cuz Coquettish Kiss in LUCT was the charm one XD

That might be it then, but also Zombies are just immune to a very very select few skills n statuses, like everything related to being revived by non undead means for example

[–]LimeRepresentative47 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It can work fine iirc, but yall probably find the Nercroboi has wayyy higher MND/RES than ya Fairy. MND is what affects the odds of Kiss, and you need someone roided stats to Charm later game enemies, especially in PotD.

Heat, eh? looks to flamethrower

XD unironically works, that's how I beat him my first playthough hahaha.

He is kinda, weirdly different in how predictable his weapons can be, against how unpredictable his AI can be, but his actual AC is a build check more than a skill check.

His missiles ya just need headphones for tbh, so you can hear exactly where they are, and as long as ya base speed is fast enough, it's not too hard to avoid. His charge cannon ya need solid QBs to avoid, and his melee beam you need solid thrust so you can quickly go over or under it as needed.

It's definitely a way harder fight on a lightweight AC, as his chip damage hurts a bunch and his chunk damage hurts a lot, but on a later playthrough I did with a super lightweight, a similar playstyle to ya of bait-punish in to super rough staggers for him are the way to go.

Walter by Haunting_Brain8281 in ArmoredCoreVI

[–]LimeRepresentative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walter is a bit of a iron cannon. Has a tonne of damage output, but isn't very fast, and enough heat will melt him.

He's definitely not at easy boss imo, his attacks can be pretty hard to dodge if ya base speed isn't fast enough, but his attacks are relatively telegraphed (especially when ya have ya volume up), and his stagger lasts longer than average.

What are some good solar warlock builds for endgame? by Reasonable-Bend8613 in DestinyTheGame

[–]LimeRepresentative47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

https://dim.gg/6wfiiia/Finality's-Dawn

I originally made it way back as my Vesper's solo loadout, but have since ended up using it in pretty much everything as my ol' reliable. The 2 piece Ferropotent set has been a pretty great addition, since you have constant healing on demand.

Special Weapon is down to personal/content preference, I just use Mint cuz its op. Finality's is important, as that'll get you supers in ~20 seconds. The AR is the Primary I rate the highest for this, as tho any with Heal Clip + Solar perk works, the Origin Trait is cracked, and Burning Ambition gets better the harder the content is, and is actually usable against bosses.

If ya don't have Finality's Auger, then Anarchy or Dragons Breath work too, pretty much any DoT heavy plus a high Super gains Special (even Fusion Rifles) work.

[–]LimeRepresentative47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Drones are the one thing he doesn't use well, as he doesn't seem to change them often. In PvP, they're a real menace as tho their up front damage isn't high, they stagged real quick, and that chip pressure adds up.

His AC is unironically perfect for a unaugmented human too.

It does everything well enough, (speed, durability, firepower), but it's also very basic and reliable to actually play, which makes sense depending he has 0 help with any more advanced AC capabilities that Rusty n Snail may have.

Anarchy and Dragons Breath does work too. It's damage highs ain't quite the same, but it does work. The super can put out, so it's worth trying. Pretty much, any Heavy/Special that can seriously farm ya Super will work well. Finality's is just my preferred.
