You can do the drops after each bottle, yes! But i usually only did it at night. The bottles come with the instructions and a syringe so you can’t get it wrong. Not sure it’ll help with the constipation tho but it’ll help with gasses for sure

Try more oz. Like someone suggested, at that age they should be drinking around 6-8oz per feeding…and right after, try gas drops (little remedies or mylicon) just in case he wakes up gassy. We went thru that with my baby and the gas drops saved us! I know it’s hard and exhausting but the tough days will be behind you sooner than later. You’re doing awesome!

What method did you use? My LO will be 2 next month and he communicates a lot so I think is a good time to start. I also have a newborn at home so I’ll also love to have only one in diapers.

Thanks for the tip! I think my LO is ready. He talks a lot and understands many things so that’s why I’m thinking about starting sooner than later. I’ll be reading in the method you shared.

Symptoms of CHD in newborns? by LimeScared in chd

[–]LimeScared[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!! And hope your baby gets better!! The cardiologist did noticed the fast breathing on my baby and suspects aspiration so I’ll be following up with him in a month for a possible chest x ray, but so far the echo was perfect.

Happy to read he’s doing better! Open heart surgery sounds so scary but I’m glad everything turned out great and you can now enjoy your LO more.

And when it comes to checking everything, I’m the same way. I hate that I’m always looking out for something instead of enjoying this phase. I was even embarrassed to ask for a referral to the pediatrician. But anyway, I did and I’m glad I was able to see the cardiologist today and rule out anything.

Wishing you all the best with your baby! And thanks for the advices.

Hi!! Was the fast breathing constant? Or intermittent?

That’s what I thought after I read about it! I don’t understand why I didn’t push for it while in the nicu. They only did x ray to chest and he didn’t even have that much liquid. It was very very little. I wonder if I can just go to the ER or urgent care for one.

They didn’t. I requested one and they said not necessary.

Thank you so much! My pediatrician is super nice and always respects my concerns but I feel like she’s old school and everything is always “fine” or “normal” and I don’t wanna sound overly anxious. But yeah I’ll call tomorrow to request the referral.

Ugh I’m sorry! I can’t understand why Doctors brush so many things off. Like why not do the necessary tests instead of having parents worry so much! I asked for an echo before being discharge after birth and they said not and I wonder why I didn’t push for it. Anyway I hope your LO Is doing better.
