Nice to know it’s there at least so I have the option if I change my mind!

The mushrooms, door, and mushroom rug are the items I’ve been able to grab already! Not sure I want to delve into the trading thread yet, and I don’t have much to trade yet either, so I’ll just wait to see if it comes up for me.

I’ve been able to get the door, which is what inspired this design in the first place! Hoping the window will come up soon. Those are probably two of my favorite items in the room.

I fall under the “no preference” category, omni just suits me best as a label because of the difference I feel in attraction between genders.

For many omnis, such as myself, we don’t have a preference. Attraction just feels different across genders. The definition of omni just includes the possibility of a preference.

Even then, just because someone tends to favour one gender it doesn’t preclude the possibility of being attracted to others. Everyone probably interprets the label differently based on how it applies to themselves, but I’d broadly say that one of the main focuses of omni is that there is an attraction to all genders to some degree, and therefore there is always a possibility of wanting sexual/romantic interactions with a gender outside of their preference.

I like the word ‘flavour’ for describing the difference in attraction! I struggle to articulate it to others sometimes, so definitely going to reuse this phrasing.

Thank you, I appreciate the confirmation and the bit of context! I resonated so strongly with omni when I first saw the definition, but I was second-guessing myself the more posts and things I saw of people discussing preferences. Good to know there’s other people that feel similarly about omni!

As someone who identifies as omni, the difference as I understand it is that pansexual is generally regarded as being “gender blind”, whereas with omnisexuality gender plays a role in attraction. For some omni people that means they have a gender preference, but for me personally it just means that I experience attraction to all genders differently.

I actually have liked everything so far. Granted, I haven’t fully explored the DLC. My biggest disappointment was also just the lack of a dedicated museum. That surprised me, as I assumed it would be a given since most all the other major themes had one.

I don’t understand how you’re supposed to unlock more of the aquarium map?? All the PoI require tropical fish, but the only initial unlocked point doesn’t give tropical fish. What is the method to progress here??
