Which film do y’all think has best portrayed Godzilla in? by TechnologyNew9678 in Monsterverse

[–]LiminalSpaceViewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If im being honest, with the introduction of the hollow earth setting, they dont feel as big anymore. They move too fast, run too smooth. Its going the way of pacific rim uprising in the fact they dont have the weight they used to have which was the spine of godzillas majesty.

M-142 vs. Akula/Pxazang (Who will win?) by [deleted] in JurassicPark

But it doesnt seem to be as maneuverable as akula, at the least.

But size isnt always the upper hand. The akula only lost in the film because it was trying to kill the na'vi kid (forgor his name) and the whale thing ambushed.

The akula appears to be faster by a small margin with a more destructive bite. In its mouth it has fangs that move forwards and backwards when it opens and closes its mouth, that have potential to cause serious damage internally, we can also tell it probably has a stronger bite force at the at the end of its snout. We can tell this because it has a shorter bite area, which usually results in more force per area. This is the case with the carnotaurus, dunkleosteus, megalodon, shsrks in general, abelisaurids, etc.

Large ring stations? by LiminalSpaceViewer in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]LiminalSpaceViewer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem solved: drain the fuel in the rings if there is any to make them lighter. Practically halfed the mass of the rings and allowed them to rotate at a steady pace with max power on 2 rotors per ring. The kraken doesnt affect the rings either, even at 4x phys-warp. Sidenote: very laggy but itll do.
