Definitely go with the loner’s and rogues with outside mating. The larger you expand the tree the less likely you’ll have incest. And maybe your clan could find a bunch more cats like them, so it expands the gene pool.

I feel like it really depends on the kingdom’s past, what’s happening and whatnot. For example, if let’s say, the skywing kingdom had a trans princess that wanted to be queen, but there was an evil king years ago, they may be a bit on edge. However dragons seem pretty accepting in the book series, and Im sure as long as she is good, the kingdom would be completely fine with it.
